Our college is very good and motivates students who work extremely hard. The infrastructure is good.
Placements: Around 98% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is around 80 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered is 34 LPA. Amazon, Microsoft, Swiggy, and many other companies come to our campus for internships. Around 96% of students got internships from our campus. Top roles offered are manager, chief secretary, etc.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi speed is good. The infrastructure available in our course is good. Air conditioners are available in the CSE department. Labs and classrooms are well-facilitated. The food available in the mess is fully hygienic. There is a hospital for students to look over. There is a huge encouragement for games.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and student-friendly. They provide many reference books to understand it more easily. The course curriculum is relevant and makes very confident for the present generation. Semester exams are moderately tough as students can earn more knowledge. The pass percentage is about 30%.
Other: My parents are more interested in computer science and engineering, so they suggested. The placement rate is very high in this course. I wish that artificial intelligence should be taught in-depth as it is trending now. Fests and events are conducted in a good manner such that every student can participate.

Why IIT BHU is the best college!
Placements: Approximately 97% of the students are placed in CSE every year, and this trend is going on. The highest package is 1.62 CR, and the lowest package is 18 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, Nvidia, and many others. About 90% of students got internships from CSE in similar companies mentioned above. The top roles offered are software engineer, web developer, and many more.
Infrastructure: The facilities that are in CSE are highly educated, having the lowest Degree of Ph.D. and many of them are foreign university-qualified. The infrastructure is top-notch, Wi-Fi is available 24*7, labs are fully equipped, there are three lecture theaters, and the library is open 20 hours every day. The hostel facility is good, the food served in hostel is tasty and made hygienically, the medical services are also provided at a single call, and there are three grounds where you can play many games like football, cricket, basketball, tennis, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and well qualified from foreign universities; there is no doubt about their knowledge; their teaching methods are very good; and each and every student who pays attention in the class can easily understand every topic. The course that is taught in the class is very relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester is exams in the college are not that difficult if you study well during the semester you can easily pass in the exams even though you can get a high grade. The passing percentage is relative and also decided by the professor.
Other: I chose this course because I had previous interest in computer science, and the best thing about the course is that there is no tension in getting placement if you study well. I would suggest improving karikulam that is too much behind the time. There are many events and festivals on the campus. There is all around greenery on the campus.

Why you should take admission in IIT Varanasi .
Placements: Approximately the percentage of students that are placed in our college is 93%. The highest package was 1.68 crores, and the lowest package is 35 lacs. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, and Goldman Sachs. Approximately 90% of the students in my course got internships in companies mentioned above. The top roles offered are software engineers and web developers.
Infrastructure: The faculty of our department is very experienced, and the infrastructure is top-notch. The most important thing is that the Wi-Fi is available 24*7 as well as mineral water. Also, there are 3 lecture halls fully air-conditioned, and the library is also open 20 hours a day. The food quality is also awesome as well as hygienic.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are abroad degree holders like PG; their teaching method is also very nice. Yes, of course everything goes on in a very preplanned manner, so it definitely makes the students industry-ready. Difficulty level is like okay, and it also depends on the subjects pass percentage, which is relatively according to the professor..

Reality behind the fame game of IIT BHU.
Placements: The placement on campus is absolutely fantastic, with more than 70% of students being placed every year with an average package of 23 lacs and the highest package of 1.68 crore from the top recruiters, namely Qualcomm, Uber, Goldman Sachs, and Google. Also, there are very good internship opportunities on campus by big companies such as Google and Microsoft for the roles of SDE and web developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is kind of old but is being renovated. Currently, the campus provides all the important infrastructure, from library to sports center. The hostels are good enough to provide all the basic amenities like a bed, chair, etc. The taste and quality of food are good and the hygiene is also maintained.
Faculty: The faculty professors are well educated, qualified and best at doing their job as teachers and mentors as well. They are always open to doubts, whether academic or not. The course curriculum is very well designed to be relevant and find application in the real world so that the students become industry-ready. There are two exams in each semester scheduled at regular intervals, giving students enough time for syllabus completion and preparation. The difficult is well planned so that it is neither to easy nor too difficult. The passing criteria depends on the subject and the student's performance on a relatively grade; generally, it is around 30–35%.

Good college regarding career, an easy academic life.
Placements: In our batch, 150 students out of nearly 1600 students were given the course Computer Science and Technology. The seat counseling is done by JOSSA. The highest placement of the year 2023-24 was 1.7 crore per annum, offered by a high-frequency trading company. The average package ranges between 18 to 20 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package of this year was 11.3 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Sprinklr, Salesforce, De Shaw, Goldman Sachs, and many more. In the last batch of my course, 120 students out of 144 students got internships, which is nearly 82 percent. The top companies were Google, De Shaw, Sprinklr, Salesforce, Intuitive, Wipro, Samsung, and others. The main roles were for the SDE (Software Development Engineer). Although some students chose product management also.
Infrastructure: My department has labs for special fields and a common lab for first-year students. The labs are AC-equipped. The classrooms have Wi-Fi facilities. Some classrooms have AC facilities also. In IIT BHU, ABLT is fully AC. The library has all the books required for the courses and for the self-improvement of students. The name of the library is Shreenivas Deshpande Library. The institute has a large hospital named Sir Sundarlal Hospital for medical facilities. The institute has three grounds for gaming named Rajputana, ADV, and Gymkhana. The mess food is also good but not of the best quality. But the canteen has good quality foods. The hostel has facilities for cold and hot water for different seasons.
Faculty: The faculty members of the institute come from premium colleges like IITs, foreign universities. They have a strong hold on their subjects. They teach in a very specific manner so that each and every student can understand. The bond of students and teachers is too strong that the teachers are ready to help the students in their personal problems. The course is structured step by step and is relevant. Like after the second year completion, the companies come for internships. So, the fourth semester is relaxed to prepare for it. They teach operation system and algorithm in the 4th semester, which helps to prepare for internships. The semester exams are just like board exams. These are not much difficult. Nearly 90% of students pass the course.
Other: I wanted to complete my graduation with Computer Science. So, according to my rank, this college I got which was best for me. This course has the most probability for placement. The college has three major fests Kashiyatra, Technex, and Spardha and a lot of small clubs, societies, and departmental fests.

Amazing placements, average infrastructure.
Placements: Placements of CSE, IIT BHU are very impressive. Probably one of the main reasons why students come for it. Last academic year, almost all the students were placed. The highest package was a PPO offered at 1.69 crores in Quant, the lowest around 10 LPA and average around 35LPA. Top role is usually SDE. Quant, data and consulting roles also open. Top companies are Google, Microsoft, accenture, Uber, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is a drawback in my opinion. Most of the buildings are very old. Lecture theatre are small compared to other IITs. Also no AC are there. It becomes almost impossible to sit in class during summer, due to hot tropical heat of Varanasi, little space to sit, and no AC. Library and Wi-Fi are good. Sports facilities are good and functional. A new sports centre was recently opened. Mess food is bad, but again no mess serves good enough food.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable. They do teach well, but due to inefficient classrooms, very less classes see good attendance. Curriculum of some courses can be improved, but in general, all the proof try to inculcate new and interesting concepts. Labs give you a practical overview of the course. Exams on other hand are usually disappointing most of the questions come from previous papers .
Other: I chose this course because I was inherent inspired to pursue teach and engineering. Regarding course, maybe more things could be taught, as I feel many courses lack sufficient depth. Co-curricular life is amazing, probably one of the richest in India.

IIT BHU Varanasi good choice for you.
Placements: I have enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and engineering at IIT BHU Varanasi. I am in 2nd year and will pass out in 2026. In IIT (BHU) from the CSE department 85-90% of students get placed every year at the top MNCs with an Average package is 22Lakhs. The highest and the lowest packages vary from year to year. According to my last year's analysis, the highest package was 1.05Cr and the average package is 20-22 Lacs. All big Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Oracle come for placements. 90-95% of Students get internships at top MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Spinkler, Oracle, etc. And the top roles offered are SDE, Web Developer, etc. The roles depend on the requirements of the companies and the skills of the student.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not of the modern time since IIT (BHU) is a very old Institute. But I don't feel any issue with the infrastructure. The high-speed Wi-Fi Facility is available all over the campus for IIT Students. Additionally, Classrooms, Labs, and Library are air-conditioned and include all facilities required. The hostel facilities are also good. Food is ordinary like all other mess in top institutes. Our Institute provides good medical facilities and also encourages students for sports and games. Canteens are available in all hostels.
Faculty: Yes, the Professors are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable (some exceptions are there). The teaching quality was also good and it depended on the style of the professors teaching. Yes, I feel the curriculum for the CSE department is relevant and makes the student industry ready. The semester exams difficulty level depends on the individual. There are no passing percentages the grading system is relative. But 75% attendance is mandatory for the completion of the course.
Other: I have enrolled in the CSE department at IIT BHU Varanasi. There are around 150 people in my branch. I chose this course because I am interested in the Computer Science field. The best thing about this course is it is completely aligned with my interests. There are so many events, and fests organized by different communities in the college. Kashiyatra is the annual cultural fest of IIT BHU. Codefest is a departmental fest of IIT BHU CSE department similar to Technex (Techno management fest), FMC (film and media council), Spardha (Sports fest), etc. Additionally, many guest speakers, top leaders, and CEOs of big companies came to campus to encourage students. IIT (BHU) has an open campus and around 1500 students enrolled in different branches every year. There are so many scholarship schemes for students and IIT BHU has a scholarship department to manage all the scholarships of students. There are scholarships also which are provided by IIT BHU alumni. Additionally, all the Scholarship-related queries can be solved by the scholarship section. There are so many Extracurricular activities and clubs for different activities like E-cell IIT BHU is an Entrepreneurship cell of IIT BHU, FMC IIT BHU (Film and Media Council of IIT BHU), SNTC (Science and Technology Council of IIT BHU), DFZ Club (Dance freaks club), IMC (Indian music club), etc. Students join sports and clubs according to their interests.

Beautiful college with a lot of scope of improvement.
Placements: 100% placements are there. The highest package is 1.2 crores per annum and average package is 65LPA. Top Recruiters are Flipkart, Oracle, Microsoft, Uber, Rakuten, etc. Many students got internship in Google, JP Morgan, Microsoft, Uber, De Shaw, Adobe and many more.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility available, classrooms are nice with well furnished furnitures. Projector is also installed in classes. Library has Air conditioner. Some hostels are good while some are quite old and small with problem of pests. Food is good and sports facility is awesome with the best Gymkhana all over IITs.
Faculty: Some faculty is really good while some are average but they are highly qualified. Teaching quality is moderate. The course is highly relevant and is crucial for us to know about that curriculum. Vast syllabus and semester exams are moderate to hard but students pass with flying colours.
Other: I chose this course because it is the future. Best things about my course is the awesome curriculum. Some things can be improved like updating the curriculum according to today's needs. Fiesta like Kashiyatra, FMC Weekend, Technex and Spardha are really enjoyable.
