Banaras Hindu University is good for higher education.
Placements: There is no placement in a B.Sc. course because BHU is focused on academic learning if you want to become a professor then BHU is good for you. There are internships available in some courses like MCA but BHU is most affordable university in India.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is very good and green campus. Another is a big library of books and computers available for students separately where studies more than a thousand students at a same time. Hostel, food quality, and facilities are very good.
Faculty: Professors are qualified and knowledgeable, and teaching quality is good. This course curriculum is relevant but at an academic level. The difficulty level of semester exams is above average if you want to pass semester exams without studying, so there is no chance to pass.

Placements: These colleges give options for networking like workshops to build your resume which can help you in placements but many students prefer M.Sc. mathematics which gives better opportunities and packages. You can apply for an internship inside the campus for research in mathematics.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are impressive. There is Wi-Fi network all around campus which you can use to study the lectures. There is also a library which is very beneficial for students and almost every book you can get from there which lesser your expenditure rather than buying that book. Classrooms are good and have a great atmosphere to concentrate on our studies. Facilities like hostel, mess, and canteen are quite good. The medical and sports facilities are available here which can enhance your interest in sports and you can achieve your dreams in the sports field.
Faculty: Professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They teach properly and in a very simple manner which can be easily understandable. They are also very helpful. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready but mainly for the teaching field. Semester exams are not very difficult. You can easily ace them just by solving previous year's question papers.

Shortly, I'll say this college is the best for an average student because the fees are very low.
Placements: It is the best college. Talking about the environment and faculty members, they are just awesome. I'm studying in a B.Sc. course, so placements are a little less, but if we talk about professional courses, placements are really good. It also gives opportunities to study abroad with some of its schemes.

Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, from the moment I stepped onto the campus of BHU, I knew I was in for a treat. The environment here is truly exceptional. It's a perfect blend of academic rigor, extracurricular opportunities, and a supportive community. My experience is amazing.
Faculty: One of the best things that really stands out for me is the quality of our facilities. Our Chemistry and Physics labs are equipped with top-notch professors who explain everything very well. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging. Semester exams are average. If you attend classes regularly, they are just a cup of tea.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go into the field of research, and I really proved my decision right. After this, I can pursue an M.Sc. from here using the BHU quota. Talking about the fests, there are a lot of things to explore at BHU. Many celebrities and famous personalities come to BHU. Akanksha is the best fest of the Institute of Science.

BHU - capital of knowledge.
Placements: In my course B.Sc. Hons Mathematics, you can't get a good placement until you do a master's, but in M.Sc., the highest package is 16 LPA for the Statistics department and 21 LPA for the Geophysics department. The average is 11 LPA for Statistics and 14 LPA for Geophysics. Per year, many students qualify for ISI, IIT JAM, ISS, and GATE UPSC.
Infrastructure: Hostels are so old but are maintained from time to time. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, departments, and the whole campus. Labs are well-equipped; the Statistics lab has AC. The food quality is above average, and the sports facilities are top-notch. There is also free hospital access for students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also very good. The course curriculum for Mathematics is not for industry; it is for research and Ph.D. Semester exams are not easy, and you should read properly. Around 20% of students get back in at least one subject per semester.
Other: I chose Mathematics because it is the mother language of Science.

The way BHU came in my life and changed my life into a beautiful dream.
Placements: Currently, I am enrolled in B.Sc. Mathematics Honours at BHU, which is the Banaras Hindu University main campus. We generally don't get any placements in this course because it's not a professional course. So basically, we can say that it is a study-oriented course, not placement-oriented.
Infrastructure: There is a separate institute, the Institute of Science, for all UG students of B.Sc., where our classes and exams occur regularly. The classrooms are very decent. Wi-Fi is available 24*7 on the college campus. Food facilities are fantastic in BHU, providing the best quality food that is hygienic and tasty. Mess and canteens are available everywhere inside the campus and are easily accessible to every student. Sports and games are daily activities conducted by BHU for its students. Students can always start from the basics of any sport and enjoy a lot.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are fantastic. They are well-educated, qualified, and, at the same time, very humble to each one of their students. They have excellent teaching skills and a wealth of experience. Our course and curriculum are relevant for students who want to further prepare for any other exams like IIT JAM for their higher studies. College exams are quite challenging here, but those who have a habit of studying, daily revising concepts taught by teachers, can easily excel in college exams.
Other: Actually, since my childhood, I have loved mathematics as a subject, which is why I have decided to continue with it as my honours in my higher studies. The campus is very crowded since there is a temple and a hospital available inside the campus, so there is pretty much a crowd. Extracurricular activities are performed on a weekly basis in my college, and one can easily participate in all of them. Various types of scholarships, like scholarships for physically handicapped people, reserved categories, and minorities, are available for them so they can continue their studies without difficulties.

This college has good atmosphere.
Placements: Our college does not provide good placements, except in a few subjects, like if honors are done in computer science. The salary package offered is 2 LPA to 3 LPA. It's an educational degree program.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Labs are well-equipped with reagents, apparatus, and sets that are good. Our classrooms are well-ventilated and well-lit. There is a central library. Around 50,000 books are available in the library that can be borrowed. Medical facilities are available 24X7. The quality of food in the mess is good and affordable. Sports and games are available. There are huge playgrounds and halls.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and helpful. They are knowledgeable and experts in their respective fields. Most teachers have completed their research in US. The teaching experience of every teacher is at least 10 years. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 70%.

Review of Banaras Hindu University.
Placements: Placements here are not up to the mark. There are several opportunities, but very few students are placed. Students who got placed are not working in their core fields. There are major placements in a few courses, like geology and statistics. The rest of the courses have negligible placements.
Infrastructure: Banaras Hindu University has a lush green campus. The environment here is quite cooler than the city around. The campus was built in 1916. It had great architecture. The chemistry department is well maintained. It is larger than other departments.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified. They have done their Ph.D.s in many foreign countries. The curriculum is well designed. Students have great opportunities to learn science here. Exams here are very satisfactory. Basically, those who like science and chemistry can join here. They will not regret it.
Other: Students who are not financially stable can join here because the fee is very minimal and everyone can afford it. There are several scholarships to help students.

Banaras Hindu University is an epitome of knowledge.
Placements: There is almost no placement after bachelor's in science in maths honors. There is scope for placements after Statistics honors but also that was mostly off-campus as of my knowledge. There are plenty of internships but negligible placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite impressive. I think that's the best thing here. Computer labs in the departments are outdated. The library is outdated too, but some very rare books are available here which compensates for the drawbacks. Wi-Fi speed is commendable.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are very helpful and highly qualified. I don't think any other university can provide such a huge corpus of highly qualified experts. The curriculum is a bit outdated, but it is incredible. It makes training a habit and forces students to study. Semester exams are not difficult, but there is no scope for passing with one-night study.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The course is very good. It covers all major topics of mathematics.

BHU first merit list for admission to BA programmes was released on October 20th on the official website, bhuonline.in. BHU cut-off marks for BSc (Hons) Mathematics is 391.42187 for general category in FMC and 388.10558 in MMV. The cut-off marks for BSc (Hons) Biology in FMC is at 459.25716 and 453.
