IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 3843 and closing rank was 4799. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 4636 and 6315. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in NIT Calicut - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

NIT Calicut JEE Main cutoff 2025 for the first round varied between 4678 and 28830 for admission to the BTech course across multiple specialisations for the General AI category. The one with the lowest cutoff rank of 4678 was Computer Science and Engineering. NIT Calicut, also known as, National Institute of Technology, provides various UG and PG level courses to students. The college mainly focuses on streams such as Management, Engineering, Computer Applications, Architecture, Science, etc. NIT Calicut offers a BTech programme to students at the UG level for a duration of 4 years. Further, the fee structure of the NIT Calicut BTech programme is around INR 5 lakh. 

NIT Calicut has released the placement report for 2025. The overall percentage recorded in 2025 was 72.98%.  A total of 1329 students participated in the NIT Calicut placement drive, and 970 were offered jobs. Candidates are required to bring the following documents at the time of written examination and/or interview in original for verification and have to send the self-attested hard copies with the application form and scan-copy through email:

3. Bachelor's degree certificate and mark sheet (if applicable)

5. Character certificate issued by the head of the institution/ department last attended
6. OBC/SC/ST/PD certificate, if applicable
7. Proof of Date of Birth
8. Statement of Purpose indicating the area and type of research work proposed to be carried out
9. Appearing certificate from the head of the department/institute for candidates appearing for the final examination of the qualifying degree

No, NIT Calicut does not facilitate direct admission to any of the courses. Admission is entirely based on merit in the national-level exams, including JEE Main,  GATE,  IIT JAM,  CAT,  NIMCET,  UGC NET, etc. Candidates are further required to participate in other selection rounds, such as counselling, written exam, and interview as well, as per the applied course selection criteria.

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate (6.0 out of 10 CGPA) for SC and ST categories)  is the basic eligibility required to get admission to MBA at NITC. The aspirants shall further have a minimum of three-year work experience. Furthermore, all the documents such as bachelor’s degree, mark sheets, etc. are required at the time of admission for verification purposes.
