NIT Calicut, also known as, National Institute of Technology, provides various UG and PG level courses to students. The college mainly focuses on streams such as Management, Engineering, Computer Applications, Architecture, Science, etc. NIT Calicut offers a BTech programme to students at the UG level for a duration of 4 years. Further, the fee structure of the NIT Calicut BTech programme is around INR 5 lakh. 

NIT Calicut JEE Main cutoff 2025 for the first round varied between 4678 and 28830 for admission to the BTech course across multiple specialisations for the General AI category. The one with the lowest cutoff rank of 4678 was Computer Science and Engineering. No, NIT Calicut does not facilitate direct admission to any of the courses. Admission is entirely based on merit in the national-level exams, including JEE Main,  GATE,  IIT JAM,  CAT,  NIMCET,  UGC NET, etc. Candidates are further required to participate in other selection rounds, such as counselling, written exam, and interview as well, as per the applied course selection criteria.
