The 2023 cutoff for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was 25978, which was the least competetive specialisations offered by NIT Nagaland.  The cutoff for the year 2022 was 17921 and for the year 2021 it was 24041. As per the date it concludes that cutoff for 2023 is higher compare to the previous two years, which indicates the rise in demand of the CSE course.

Documents required to fill JEE Main 2024 application form

Before the JEE Main 2024 registration process, students must keep the following documents and information ready for a smooth application process:

• Valid email id and mobile number
• Academic details related to the Class 10 and Class 12 qualifying exams
• Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable)

NIT Meghalaya has released the placements record for 2023. As per the report the recruitng companies, including  Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, etc. participated in the placement drive offereing 199 jobs. NIT Meghalaya offers good placements for its BTech courses annually. The course-wise placement details are yet to be released on the official website. However, the overall the highest and average package offered during NIT Meghalaya placements in 2024 was INR 46.3 LPA and INR 9.7 LPA, respectively. The key highlights of NIT Meghalaya placements for the Class of 2023 and 2024 are tabulated below:

NIT Meghalaya offers BTech programmes with a duration of four years. BTech programme at NIT Meghalaya is offered in provides five specialisations for the BTech programme, which include Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The eligibility criteria for the BTech specialisations includes tweleve years of shcool education with 75% aggregate. National entrance exams is the source of admission for the BTech programme.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Meghalaya has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 18501. In 2023, it increased to 19175. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from
24759 to 6137 for OBC 68411 to 3133 for SC 640 to 1025 for ST 2843 to 3077 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
