NIT Meghalaya offers a four year duration programme in Bachelor of Technology. It is regular programme for class 12 passed out students. NIT Meghalaya admission to the BTech programme is based on JEE Main scores followed by JoSAA counselling. NIT Meghalaya provides five specialisations for the BTech programme, which include Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Admission to the BTech programme is only possible when candidates pass the eligibility criteria.

Also candidates have to eligible for the BTech course  with twelve years of school education with PCM/ PBM with minimum of 75 % aggregate and ofcourse a valid score in JEE Main exam.

The NIT Meghalaya average package and the highest package stood at INR 11.10 LPA and INR 32 LPA, respectively. Additionally, the the lowest package offered was INR 3.6 LPA. NIT Meghalaya offers good placements for its BTech courses annually. The course-wise placement details are yet to be released on the official website.
