PGIMER MSc Nursing 2024 Result & Provisional Merit List: Know how to download

The PGIMER has scheduled the announcement of the result and the release of the merit list and will soon announce the dates for the counselling. Below is the announced events calendar of PGIMER MSc Nursing 2021:

The result will be prepared on the basis of the percentile obtained by the applicants in the national-level entrance exam. The merit list has also been made available physically on the notice boards of the institute.

 In order to check the individual result cum scorecard, there various steps which candidates are required to follow to access their scorecard. Candidates can check below the steps they have to follow to check their PGIMER Nursing 2021 result:

• Applicants are required to visit the official website of  PGIMER Chandigarh, http://pgimer.edu.in/.
• section and click on the link ‘Result of MSc Nursing 2021 entrance exam’ in the latest ‘Information for the Candidate’
• The candidates will be redirected to the Login page of the official website
• Enter their User/Login ID and the password to access PGIMER MSc Nursing 2021 result 
• After entering their credentials, candidates have to enter the 7 character captcha to login
• Candidates will be redirected to the result page where they can check, download and take a printout of their PGIMER MSc Nursing 2021 result

PGIMER MSc Nursing 2021 result will have all the details of applicants, including their marks, scores and category. Besides the candidate’s particulars, the scorecard will also contain the sectional and overall scores. Below are the details available/mentioned on the PGIMER MSc Nursing 2021 result:

A tie situation arises if two or more candidates score an equal number of marks in the entrance exam. In order to award the fair ranking to deserving candidates, the Tie-Breaking method is used. The PGIMER has set the following criteria for tie-breaking:

• Applicants passing the qualifying exam (BSc Nursing Final year) will be placed higher in the order of merit
• The applicant with higher marks in the qualifying exam (BSc Nursing) will get the advantage if the tie still exists even after applying the first tiebreaker rule
• If the tie is still not resolved, then the age of the applicant will be taken into consideration. An applicant who is older in age will be given the preference.

PGIMER Chandigarh will invite the shortlisted candidates for the interview cum counselling process in order of their merit, as in the merit list. The candidates to be called will be thrice the number of the total available seats in each category. The candidates will have to appear for the interview first, and then the counselling will take place. The PGIMER MSc Nursing counselling had begun on July 12, 2021.
