NID DAT Sample Paper
Candidates appearing in NID 2027 must make sample papers a part of their exam preparation. Sample papers will help to develop problem-solving and time-management skills. They will contain similar questions to the ones asked in the NID exam. Candidates can start solving NID DAT sample papers very early in their NID preparation. For instance, after completing a chapter, one may solve all the related problems given in the sample paper. Even if they want to improve time-management skills, there are few better tools than sample papers.
Unlike sample papers, the NID previous years' papers will contain the specific questions asked in the previous editions of the NID exam. NID Entrance Exam consists of two admissions tests: NID DAT Prelims and NID DAT Mains. NID DAT Prelims is a written entrance exam, while NID DAT Mains comprises a studio test and interview round. In NID DAT Prelims, candidates are asked both objective and subjective-type questions. Candidates who qualify in the NID DAT 2027 exam will be considered for admission to the M.Des and B. Des courses offered by participating colleges. DATPrelims exam for the B. Des programme will include questions from topics like color terminology, principles of composition, and form and function.
NID DAT Prelims exam will be conducted offline and will be of 3 hours duration.
- Test will be conducted in the English language and include a maximum of 26 questions.

- Paper will be for 100 marks.
- Candidates who qualify in DAT Prelims have to next appear in DAT Mains.
NID Studio Test for M.Des carries 40% of wieghtage and Interview carries 60% wieghtage. More emphasis is given on the interview by NID.
