AP EAMCET 2017 results for engineering, medical and agriculture streams got declared on May 5, a day in advance of the expected date of scores and rank declaration. With an AIR 1, Mohan Abhyas from Telangana topped the engineering stream this year. Interestingly, Mohan was also one of the toppers of JEE Main 2017. He secured an AIR 6 in the exam. Avvari Sai S S V Bharadwaj and Satyan Ralham bagged the second and third rank respectively.
On the other hand, Vutukuri Venkata Anirudh bagged the first rank in the Agriculture and Medical stream. He was followed by Dogga Sandeep and Nunna Himaja at the second and third place respectively.

In 2017, around 1,98,064 students registered for the AP EAMCET's engineering stream. Out of these, 79.74%(1,23,974) of the candidates qualified in the entrance. On the other hand, 80,735 registered for the agriculture stream and 55,288 out of these managed to qualify the exam.
