Q:   What is the duration of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET?
A: 

Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2026 is conducted for 3 hours. The morning session of the exam is conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM. The afternoon session is conducted from 3 PM to 6 PM. There were 160 MCQs in the exam. It is a computer-based exam. There are 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the question paper. For each correct option, candidates were given 1 mark.

Q:   Once I have selected and saved an answer, is it possible to change my options in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET?
A: 

Yes, the candidates can get back to the question that was previously saved and change the answer selected. After changing the option candidate should make sure that the answer is saved. In AP EAMCET, all the questions are MCQs, so it is easier to make changes to the selected answer. 

Q:   What are the languages for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET question paper?
A: 

AP EAMCET Question Paper will be in Telugu, English and Urdu. The candidates who want to attend the exam in Urdu must select the specific centres where the question papers will be provided in Urdu. In all the other centres, the question will be in both English and Telugu. Candidates can choose their preferred language.

AP EAMCET 2026 Exam Pattern: Marking Scheme:

  • Every question from all sections carries one mark, and for each correct option, candidates will get 1 mark

  • There is no negative marking scheme, i.e. 0 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers

  • Also, no marks are allotted or deducted in case of no attempts (leaving questions)

AP EAMCET 2026 Exam Day Instructions

Some important instructions, which candidates should keep in their mind can be seen below:

  • Candidates appearing for AP EAMCET 2026 have to appear at least 2 hours before the scheduled exam timings for purpose of frisking.

  • They should carry their AP EAMCET 2026 hall ticket as allotted to them.

  • The candidates who have selected Urdu language as their test medium have to appear at the Kurnool test centre only.

There is no dress code to appear for AP EAMCET 2026. Candidates can follow this dress code.

Candidates can switch to different subject during exam. Candidates must click on subject name to change. Candidates can also switch to different question from same subject by clicking on question number in Question Palette. The question palette is on right side of screen. 

Q:   Is it possible to increase the font size of the question during the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam?
A: 

The font size can be increased during the exam. There is an option to zoom in/zoom out the content on the computer screen.

Q:   In Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, which questions will be taken into consideration for evaluation?
A: 

In AP EAMCET exam, questions saved will be evaluated. Answers saved by candidates will appear green. Questions that are not answered by candidates will remain blank and will not be evaluated. Therefore, candidates must save all answers. Candidates must check all answers in question paper before they submit answer sheet. 

Q:   Can I use any shortcuts or external tools during Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam?
A: 

No, the candidates will not be allowed to use any external tools or shortcuts. The candidates will be given a rough sheet to do all the calculations. The AP EAMCET exam tests the knowledge and problem-solving skills of the candidates.
