JEE Advanced 2026 Study Plan

Candidates should have a strong study plan for JEE Advanced 2026 if they wish to have a higher chance for IIT admission. While determination is one of the key factors while preparing for the exam, the candidates should also consider some tricks and tips which can be used as their study plan to have a positive performance.

  • Be Familiar with the Syllabus – It is recommended that the candidates go through the official JEE Advanced 2026 syllabus before starting the preparation. By knowing the syllabus, the candidates will be able to know which topics are to be studied for the examination, and this will let them create a good timetable for themselves.
  • Be Regular with Practice – While studying every day is absolutely essential, candidates should not forget to regularly practice using mock tests. By solving mock tests, the candidates will be able to assess their preparation progress. Candidates can also recognise their commonly made mistakes through the mock tests and work on it.
  • Focus on Analytical Aspects – Since most of the JEE Advanced questions will be analytical in nature, the candidates are advised to focus on the analytical aspects of the syllabus. No, candidates can not raise objections in JEE Adv result. The facility to raise objection is provided only in the answer key. It is clearly mentioned in the IIT JEE advanced 2026 information brochure that any request to re-evaluate in result will not be entertained under any circumstances.

No, same questions never get repeated in IIT JEE exam. However, questions with similar concepts can find places in the exam. The question paper of JEE Advanced is prepared considering the syllabus and exam pattern.

You will not be eligible for admission as preparatory ranks are not considered under round 1. Since you have already qualified to appear for JEE (Advanced), all you need to do is meet the second criterion and apply for round 2, which will be only conducted if seats from round 1 remain vacant.

Yes, you can still get admission in Round 2 if you meet eligibility criteria to appear in JEE (Advanced) and have a valid JEE (Mains) rank. Also, you must have scored 60% or above in class 12th. For SC/ST/PwD category students, 55% or above is required.
