JEE Main 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions in January and April. NTA will release the JEE Main Application Form 2025 in November for the session 1 exam. JEE-Main-2025

JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main 2025 notification in November. JEE Main 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions in January and April. The exact JEE Main 2025 exam date January and April session will be announced soon on the official website.

JEE Main Application form 2025 will be released in November for session 1. Application forms for JEE Main 2025 session 2 will be released later. JEE Main Syllabus 2025, exam pattern and other important details related to exam will be available on the JEE Main website once the application form is released.

NTA conducts JEE Main for admission to three courses, BE/BTech, BArch and BPharma. Separate paper is conducted for all three courses and each paper has different pattern, mode of exam, and syllabus.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates applying for JEE Mains 2025 should check the conditions of eligibility before filling the application form. The common JEE Main 2025 eligibility criteria conditions are

Age Criteria: There is no age limit to appear in JEE Main. Candidates can appear in JEE Mains irrespective of their age. However, the candidates need to fulfill the age criteria of the institute at which admission is desired after qualifying JEE Main 2025.

Year of Appearance in Class 12: Candidate should have passed class 12 exams in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025. Candidate who have passed class 12 in 2022 or earlier or appearing in 2026 are not eligible to apply.

Qualifying Exam Criteria: Candidates must have passed/appearing in class 12/two-year Pre-University exam/any other equivalent exam.

State Code of Eligibility Criteria: State code of eligibility means the code of the State from where the candidate has passed the Class 12 (or equivalent) qualifying examination by virtue of which the candidate becomes eligible to appear in JEE Main 2025. It is important to note that the State code of eligibility does NOT depend upon the native place or the place of residence of the candidate.

JEE Main Syllabus 2025

NTA JEE Mains exam syllabus is similar to class 11 and 12 syllabus. For JEE Main Paper 1 (BE/BTech), candidates can prepare for JEE using their class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics textbooks of NCERT/state boards.

The drawing syllabus of Paper 2A (BArch) and Planning Syllabus for Paper 2B (BPlan) are also as per class 11 and 12 textbooks of respective subjects.

The NTA will release the actual syllabus for JEE Mains 2025 along with the notification/information brochure in November.

JEE Main Application Form 2025

The application form of JEE Mains 2025 will be released in November in online mode on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates have to fill the application form from the website within the last date to appear in the exam.

As JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in two sessions in January and April, separate application forms will be available JEE Main 2025 January and April. Candidates however will have the option to apply for only one or both sessions while fill the session 1 (January) form.

The filling of JEE Main 2025 application form is a multi-stage process which includes

  • Candidate registration by providing basic details like name, father and mother name, category, phone number, email ID, creation of password
  • After registration, candidate will receive application number in their email ID
  • Candidate need to login using their application number (received in email) and password (created during registration) to fill detailed application form
  • After filling form, candidates need to upload scanned image of photo, signature and category certificate (if applicable)
  • Last step is to pay application fees. The JEE Main application fee can be paid only online using Rupay credit/debit card, UPI or net banking

How to Fill JEE Main 2025 Application Form

The step-by-step guide to fill JEE Main application form is given below

Step 1: Open the JEE Main official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in

Step 2: Click on JEE Main 2024 Registration and select mode of registration (Registration using Aadhar or PAN Number)

Step 3: Fill the required details and click on submit button

Step 4: After successful registration, the JEE Main application form 2025 will open. Fill the complete form with required information

Step 5: Upload scanned image of passport size photo and signature

Step 6: Pay application fees

Step 7: Application form will submit after payment of application fee

Candidates will receive an email from NTA in the email ID provided during the registration process with details of candidate and application number. Candidates should keep save this email and take a printout of the filled form.

How to Prepare for JEE Main 2025

One of the most important point, which comes into the mind of JEE Mains aspirants, is how to start the preparation. The simplest answer to this is

  • Understand the JEE Mains Syllabus and topics that need to be studied

JEE Main Answer Key 2025

NTA releases answer key of exam online on the JEE Main website. Candidates can download the answer key to know the correct answers of questions asked in the exam. If candidates are not satisfied with any answer given in the JEE Mains answer key, they can submit their grievances to NTA. The challenges submitted will be reviewed and the final answer key will be released by the NTA. The result of JEE Main is calculated based on the JEE Main final answer key.

JEE Main Mock Test 2025

NTA will declare JEE Main 2025 result within a week of the conclusion of the exams. JEE Main result will be announced online on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Once you appeared for 12th you will not have any chance to appear for 12th again and it is not possible 

You can appear for the new Mains 2 to 3 times after 12th if you qualify in JEE Mains then only you can able to attempt the JEE advanced
