UPES Law School Admission Test 2022 Eligibility Criteria for undergraduate and postgraduate is one of the parameters for shortlisting candidates. Check here detailed eligibility for ULSAT 2022. 

The UPES University will be conducting ULSAT 2022 from July 3 to 5, in a Computer-Based Test mode. The application process of ULSAT 2022 is open until June 30. Candidates can apply for admissions to the five-year LLB course and LLM course at UPES School of Law offered on the basis of ULSAT 2022. However, before filling up the application form of ULSAT 2022, candidates must check the eligibility criteria including academic qualification, age limit, and other details. ULSAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 for BA LLB (Hons.)

The eligibility criteria for BA LLB (Hons.) is as under:

  • Candidates who have qualified Class 10 examinations 
  • Those who have qualified or awaiting Class 12 results or equivalent examination are eligible
  • No age limit for admission to law courses at UPES Law school
  • Those who have studied Commerce/Arts at Class 12 should apply for this course.

ULSAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 for BBA LLB (Hons.)

The eligibility criteria for BBA LLB (Hons.) is as under:

  • Candidates who have qualified Class 10 examinations 
  • Those who have qualified or awaiting Class 12 results or equivalent examination are eligible
  • No age limit for admission to law courses at UPES Law school
  • Candidates who have studied Commerce/ Arts/ HUmanities/ Science subjects at Class 12 level can apply for the course.

ULSAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 for BA Legal Studies 

The eligibility criteria for BA Legal Studies is as under:

  • Candidates who have secured 50% marks of higher in Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board of education 
  • Those appearing or awaiting results of Class 12 are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates have to provide their proof of qualification at the time of personal interview and final selection rounds. 
  • Candidates studying Commerce/ Arts/ Science stream at Class 12 level can apply for this course.

ULSAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 for LLM course

For LLM Specialization courses, the eligibility criteria for ULSAT LLM 2022 is as under:

  • Candidates who have secured 50% marks of higher in Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent examination
  • Candidates should have qualified an LLB degree from a BCI recognised law college 
  • They should have secured at least 50% marks in the LLB degree 
  • Those appearing or awaiting results of their LLB degree are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates have to provide their proof of qualification at the time of personal interview and final selection rounds. 
  • Candidates holding scores of LSAT India PG and CLAT PG are also eligible for admission to LLM courses at UPES School of Law

Q:   What is the qualification for BTech in UPES?
A: 

UPES Dehradun admission to BTech/ BTech (Hons) course is based on national-level entrance exams like JEE Main, CUET, etc. The university also conducts UPESEAT for providing admission to BTech course. It is an online exam conducted for a duration of 2 hours. Check below the complete admission criteria for BTech course of UPES Dehradun:

Q:   Can I apply for Law course admission at UPES, without applying for the ULSAT?
A: 

Yes, you can apply with board exam marks and CLAT or LSAT scores. but do check your eligibility before applying. The ULSAT entrance test is only for those who score less than 60% marks in their qualifying exam. Thus, candidates with more than 60% marks in their board exam and undergraduate exam can also apply to study UG and PG law courses offered by the School of Law UPES. CLAT and LSAT India scores are also accepted by the institution as a non-entrance pathway for admissions to UG and PG law programmes. Candidates with less than 60% marks in their qualifying exam and without CLAT and LSAT India scores will have to take the ULSAT for admission to the School of Law UPES.

 

Q:   Can I get into UPES without entrance exam?
A: 

Yes, it is possible to get into UPES without writig an entrance exam since the univerity offers direct admission to a number of courses, namely Non-Exam Pathway, BBA, BSc, BTech and BCom courses. While admission to a majority of courses is also offered basis university level entrance exams, the university mentios this route of admission on it official website.

A: 

Yes, you can get admission to UPES School of Law for BA LLB (Hons.) with 60% in Class 12th. The eligibility criteria for the BA LLB (Hons.) programme at UPES School of Law is a minimum of 50% marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th).

Candidates with a CLAT AIR ranking up to 15000 or an L-SAT India percentile of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from appearing in ULSAT (UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test) .

Therefore, if you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for admission to the BA LLB (Hons.) programme at UPES School of Law.
