KIITEE BDes Pattern 2026: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

The KIITEE exam is not considered very difficult. KIITEE stands for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam.

The qualifying marks for the KIITEE are different for each stream or discipline. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying mark will be eligible for further admission. 

• For BTech programmes of four years duration, the applicant must have passed 10+2 in 2024 or 2025 or must be appearing in the final year examination. The minimum qualifying mark for BTech admission is 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. 

• BTech and MTech Biotechnology's minimum qualifying mark is 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. 

• For MTech courses, B.E or BTech or any equivalent specialisation in a relevant engineering and technology discipline with a first-class or equivalent CGPA or first-class MCA/first-class MSc are required.

KIIT University offers admission to UG & PG courses in engineering, pharmacy, management, science, and more. The University conducts an entrance test, known as KIITEE for admission to all courses except MBBS and BDS courses. The university also accepts other entrance test scores, such as JEE Main, CAT, XAT, GMAT, etc., for admissions. The KIITEE 2026 Application form is available at kiitee.kiit.ac.in.
