Yes. It is necessary for the candidates to complete their MET slot booking process. All candidates are advised to log in and complete the slot booking as soon as possible since it will allow them to have more chances of obtaining their preferred slots. If the candidates are not able to complete the slot booking before the final date, then they will be automatically allotted seats by the authorities as per the availability. The authorities will not accept any requests for change of slots after the final date.

Since the entrance examination is prepared to assess the candidate's knowledge in Physics Chemistry Mathematics and English the topics to be studied will be the ones that the candidates have already studied in their 11th and 12th standard. Therefore, the candidates will also be able to simultaneously prepare for their 12th standard qualifying/board examination and MET.

Yes, the candidates are advised to study the entire MET syllabus for the entrance examination. While the candidates can check the previous year papers and sample papers to know the important topics and subject weightage, it is beneficial if the candidates are well-versed with the entire syllabus. By studying the entire syllabus, the candidates will have higher chances of securing more scores and raising their chances for admission into their preferred course and campus.

MET 2023 question paper consisted of a total of 60 questions. For the Physics and Chemistry section, there were 10 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and 5 Numerical Answer Type NAT Questions. In the Mathematics section, the candidates had to answer 15 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and 5 Numerical Answer Type NAT Questions. Finally, for the English section, there were a total of 10 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
