MHT CET 2026 Dates: Maharashtra CET Cell has revised MHT CET 2026 exam dates for PCM. The session-wise MHT CET exam date 2026 for both PCM and PCB is as follows.

  • PCM: April 11 to 20 (Session 1) and May 12 to 16 (Session 2)
  • PCB: April 21 to 26 (Session 1) and May 10 to 11 (Session 2)

The authority will release the MHT CET 2026 city intimation slip before the admit cards. The MHT CET admit card is expected 3-4 days before the exam. Candidates who seek engineering and pharmacy admission through MHT CET 2026 can check the schedule for all events here. This year onwards, MHT CET will be conducted in two sessions, similar to the national-level JEE Mains exam.

MHT CET Application Form Date

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has closed the MHT CET registration 2026 link at cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates were allowed to fill the CET application forms between March 19 to 20 with a late fee of Rs 500. Previously, the CET 2026 registration last date was February 24, 2026. However, applicants were allowed to apply till February 27, by paying a late fee. To fill the MHT CET application form, candidates had to register at CET portal. After registration, students can access the application form and select the CET they want to apply for. After selecting CET, they could fill choice of exam centre and pay MHT CET application fee. Those who completed the MHT CET registration as per the deadline will be issued the MHT CET 2026 admit card to appear in the exam.

MHT CET 2026 Application Form Correction Date

The MHT CET form correction window was activated on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Registered candidates were able to make edits to their application forms between March 5 and 7. Candidates were able to make changes only to a few fields. Moreover, students were given the option to add a subject group or apply for the MHT CET second attempt scheduled in May during the correction period itself.

MHTCET 2026 Admit Card Date

The MHT CET admit card 2026 is released online on the website cetcell.mahacet.org a few days before the exam. MHT CET 2026 admit card download facility will be through the candidate login facility in the website cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates have to download their MHT CET 2026 admit card by login into the website using their registered email ID and password. 

Details about the MHT CET 2026 exam date and time, address of the exam centre, paper for which appearing, basic details like name, photo and signature will be mentioned in the admit card. Candidates have to download and take a printout of their admit card to carry to the exam centre on the day of the exam.

MHTCET Answer Key 2026 Date

The State Common Entrance Test Cell will release the MHT CET 2026 provisional answer key in online mode on the website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The provisional MHT CET answer key will be issued in a week's time after the conduct of the exam. Candidates can access the answer key through the candidate portal only. The authority will activate the challenge window along with the provisional answer key. Students who find any discrepancy can challenge the answer key within a specified duration. Objections to the answer key can be submitted online via the candidate login. Students have to attach the supporting documents and pay the fee. The authorities will then publish the final MHT CET 2026 answer key by considering the valid objections received. The results will be prepared as per the final MHT CET answer key.

The facility to raise objections is not provided for the final answer key. Candidates are advised to check thoroughly the provisional answer key and raise objections in the provisional key only, if they have any doubt to the answer provided by the CET Cell. The facility to challenge MHT CET provisional answer key will be open after the CET Cell releases the key. The challenge facility will be open for a period of 2-3 days.

The facility to raise objections in MHT CET answer key is opened once the official answer key is released by the CET Cell. Candidates need to login to the official website mahacet.org using their registered email ID and password for raising the objection.

After login, candidates will see the answers to all the questions given and the answer marked by the candidate. If any candidate wish to raise the objection to any official answer, they need to select the respective answer and click on the raise a dispute option. Candidates also have to pay INR 1000 per question as fees for raising the objection.

MHT CET Counselling Dates 2026

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell starts the MHT CET 2026 counselling in June. The counselling will be conducted online in three or four rounds. Registration for the counselling will open in June. After registration, CET Cell will release the merit list with details of the All India rank of candidates. The allotment of seats will be done based on the MHT CET merit list. The CET Cell will organise separate counselling for J&K and Ladakh candidates.

Students can download MHT CET mock tests for free from this page or alternatively from the MAHARASHTRA CET CELL official website cetcell.mahacet.org. MAHARASHTRA CET CELL mock tests are free and can be downloaded or practiced online. It is very important that CET aspirants regularly solve mock tests. It will help them in analyzing their preparation level and also give experience of appearing in the real exam.

It is advised that students solve mock tests in a planned manner. For each subject, students should solve subject/topic wise mock tests during the preparation and solve full length mock tests one month before the exam.

Q:   When will MHT CET 2026 application form release?

In MHT CET, class 12 complete syllabus and only a few topics of class 11 is asked whereas JEE Mains consists all topics of class 11 and 12 syllabus.

Q:   Can I fill MHT CET application form using my mobile?

It is not advised to fill MHT CET application form 2026 using mobiles. If candidates do not have a laptop/computer, they can visit the computer centres in market for filling the MHT CET 2026 application form. As filling the application form involves uploading scanned images of photo, signature and other required documents, it could be difficult to resize and upload these documents if filling the form through mobile.

Q:   How to prepare for MHT CET from Class 11 and 12?
A: 

Starting the MHT CET preparation from class 11 or 12 is the best time as MHT CET syllabus consists of topics from class 11 and 12 and students can easily cover all the topics along with school. Students can begin by checking the topics that is covered in both school and MHT CET and give special attention to them. For all three subjects, study NCERT and also take help from reference books. Understand the concepts thoroughly and solve numerical problems. To crack MHT CET along with class 12, students should devote at least 2-3 hours for CET beside class 12 studies. Regularly solve MHT CET mock test and solve previous year question papers to evaluate the performance.

Q:   How can I prepare for MHT CET without coaching?
A: 

Taking help of coaching is not necessarily required for clearing the MHT CET exam. Many students score good marks in MHT CET by self-studying, without help from coaching. To crack MHT CET without coaching, students need to make a study plan considering the time they have before exam.

Students can take help of online tutorials and videos from previous year toppers who have cleared the exam without coaching to understand their strategy. One thing that is required when students are not taking coaching is regular study.

Make a daily time table of study and devote at least 5-6 hours for MHT CET preparation. Students who are in class 11 or 12 can give 3-4 hours specifically for CET beside school studies. Students who have passed class 12 should also study at least 6 hours daily.
