Maharashtra State CET Cell has announced the MHT CET 2026 exam day guidelines. Candidates can check the specific guidelines for MHT CET exam on this page. MHT CET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: Dress Code, Reporting Time

MHT CET Exam Day Guidelines 2026: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will administer the MHT CET 2026 exam for session 2 between May 10 and 21. The MHT CET PCB exam date is May 10 and 11. The exam date for PCM is May 12 to 21 (except May 16 and 17). Before appearing for the MHT CET 2026 2nd attempt, candidates must check the exam day guidelines. MHT CET Exam Day Guidelines 2026: AI-Based Cheating Warning

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has clearly warned candidates against using any unfair means, including AI-based cheating tools.

  • Use of smart devices, hidden gadgets, or AI tools is strictly banned.
  • Any attempt to cheat using technology will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Candidates may also face future exam bans or legal action.

 MHT CET 2026 Reporting Time

Authorities set the MHT CET reporting time earlier than the exam shift timings. This is because all students have to undergo a mandatory frisking process before entering the exam hall. Candidates must reach the MHT CET exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on their admit card. Students must check the MHT CET reporting and shift timings given below.

  • Students have to reach the centre at least 60 minutes before the exam.
  • Entry to the exam hall will usually close 30 minutes before the exam begins.
  • Late entry will not be allowed under any circumstances.

Q:   Is there passing marks in MHT CET 2026?

No. There is no minimum mark required to pass the MHT CET exam. The only requirement to get the scorecard is to appear in all subjects of MHT CET and obtain a non-zero score.

Q:   How can a candidate verify his/her marks in MHT CET?
A: 

For verifying marks, candidates are required to write an application to the Divisional authority. It must reach to the authority within four days of result declaration. Along with the application, a bank draft of Rs 1,000 in the name “Director of Education & Research Mumbai” must also be submitted.

Q:   Where can I find important study materials for MHT CET preparation?
A: 

While it is necessary that students pay special attention to chapters with high weightage, it is highly advised that they cover the full MHT CET syllabus. The question paper of MHT CET is prepared by considering the entire CET syllabus which consists of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from class 11 and 12. Important study material for MHT CET like books or short notes can be checked online. Students who are taking coaching can get the study materials from the coaching institutes.

From 2026 onwards, Maharashtra CET Cell will conduct the MHT CET exam twice a year in April and May. MHT CET 2026 exam dates have been announced for both April and May session exams.
