CET Cell will conduct the MHT CET 2026 session 1 from April 11 to 26. The exam will be conducted in CBT mode, and candidates have to report to the exam centres. MHT CET Exam Day Guidelines 2026: The Maharashtra State CET Cell has announced the MHT CET 2026 exam day guidelines. Candidates can check the specific guidelines for MHT CET exam on this page. The MHT CET 2026 exam day guidelines provide a code of conduct, what to carry, instructions and more. Any student who does not adhere to the instructions will not be allowed to appear in the test. Additionally, the MHT CET exam day guidelines 2026 are mentioned on the admit cards. The authority will release the MHT CET 2026 admit card 3-4 days before the test.

MHT CET Exam Day Guidelines 2026: AI-Based Cheating Warning

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has clearly warned candidates against using any unfair means, including AI-based cheating tools.

  • Use of smart devices, hidden gadgets, or AI tools is strictly banned.
  • Any attempt to cheat using technology will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Candidates may also face future exam bans or legal action.

MHT CET 2026 Reporting Time

Authorities set the MHT CET reporting time earlier than the exam shift timings. This is because all students have to undergo a mandatory frisking process before entering the exam hall. Candidates must reach the MHT CET exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on their admit card. Students must check the MHT CET reporting and shift timings given below.

  • Students have to reach the centre at least 60 minutes before the exam.
  • Entry to the exam hall will usually close 30 minutes before the exam begins.
  • Late entry will not be allowed under any circumstances.

Documents Required on MHT CET Exam Day

Another aspect of the MHT CET 2026 exam day guidelines includes carrying the mandatory documents. Students must carry the following documents to the exam centre:

  • MHT CET Admit Card
  • Valid Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving licence, School ID card)

MHT CET 2026 Dress Code

Although there is no specific dress code for MHT CET, it is recommended that students follow these instructions while deciding what to wear to the MHT CET exam hall. Students should opt for simple and comfortable clothing on the exam day. The MHT CET dress code 2026 includes the following highlights:

  • Wear light clothes without large buttons or heavy embroidery.
  • Avoid jackets, hoodies, or caps.
  • Candidates should preferably wear slippers or simple sandals.
  • Avoid jewellery such as chains, rings, bracelets, or earrings.

MHT CET Exam Day Guidelines: What to Carry to MHT CET Exam Hall?

Students are allowed to carry only a few items inside MHT CET exam hall. Check the items which are permitted inside the hall below.

  • Printed MHT CET admit card
  • Valid photo ID proof
  • Transparent water bottle
  • Transparent pen

MHT CET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: Prohibited Items List

The list of banned items for the MHT CET exam is given below. No candidate will be allowed to take the exam if they have the following items. Thus, students must avoid carrying these items to the MHT CET exam centre:

  • Watches (Both digital and analogue)
  • Calculators
  • Bluetooth devices or earphones
  • Notes, books, or paper sheets
  • Electronic gadgets

Students should keep the following instructions in mind on the exam day:

  • Follow the instructions given by the invigilators at the exam centre.
  • Do not try to communicate with other candidates during the exam.
  • Maintain silence in the exam hall.
  • Do not attempt to open any other window or software on the computer.
  • Carefully read all instructions on the screen before starting the test.
  • Any form of unfair means or misconduct may lead to cancellation of the exam.
