CTET Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the result of the CTET 2025 exam after the assessment process. The CTET exam result will be displayed as a login link on the official website- ctet.nic.in. Candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below to check their CBSE CTET result 2025:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET exam - ctet.nic.in.
  • Step 2: Click on the result link present at the bottom of the page.
  • Step 3: Enter the roll number.
  • Step 4: Click on Submit.
  • Step 5: Download and take print of CTET result.

CTET score is valid for a lifetime now from the date of declaration of CTET result. There is no cap on the total number of times an aspirant can appear for the CTET exam. Any candidate who has cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE may appear again for the exam to improve his/ her score.

Q:   What is a good score in CTET?
A: 

Obtaining more than 60 per cent marks is considered as a good score in the CTET exam. Out of the total 150 marks, 90 marks are minimum qualifying marks for the General category and 82 are minimum qualifying marks for Reserved categories such as SC/ ST/ OBC. Those who score over and above the minimum qualifying marks are considered a good scorers.

Q:   What is a good rank in CTET exam?
A: 

As per the CTET exam process, there is no rank criteria in the examination. Candidates only need to obtain the minimum qualifying marks to clear the exam and get the eligibility certificate. What's Next after CTET Result 2025?: Applicability of CTET exam

According to the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, candidates need to qualify the CTET or TET exam to become eligible for teaching Classes 1 to 8 in the schools affiliated to the CBSE. After passing the CTET result, candidates can apply for teacher recruitment in the following types of schools:

  • Schools affiliated under the Central Government- KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.
  • Schools under the administrative control of Union Territories such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep.
  • Private schools that consider and require CTET qualification.

CTET Certificate 2025: Validity

Soon after the declaration of the CTET result, the certificate is available for all the candidates who appeared for the exam. The CTET certificate 2025 is made available on the DigiLocker and Umang platforms. The CTET eligibility certificate 2025 is available for only those candidates who have been declared pass in the exam. Candidates can download their CTET certificate by logging into their DigiLocker account. Credentials to log in to the DigiLocker accounts are shared by CBSE on candidates' registered mobile numbers after the CTET results. The CTET certificate is now valid for a lifetime. 

Further, candidates are informed that the qualifying CTET exam does not confer them the right to employment/recruitment. This is because CTET is simply a qualifying exam and is only one of the eligibility criteria to be hired at the post of a teacher.

Q:   Is CTET valid for lifetime?

The CTET exam is valid for life. Until 2021, the CTET eligibility Certificate was valid for a period of seven years starting from the date of declaration of result. However, in June 2021, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and CBSE as well officially extended the CTET passing Certificate validity to lifetime. However, candidates need to fulfil the age limit criteria fixed by the respective teacher recruiting body such as NVS, KVS or others. Therefore, candidates can apply for the teaching jobs after qualifying the Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET however, they must fall within the age limit defined by the respective agency.
Q:   Is CTET certificate available on DigiLocker?
