UPTET Application Form 2025 is likely to be released soon by the UP Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), on behalf of the UPBEB on the official website after the release of the official notification. Candidates are required to apply online to fill out the UPTET Online Form 2025 by visiting the official website- updeled.gov.in. The UPTET Online Form Link will also be provided on the page below. To fill out the UPTET form, candidates need to pay the application fee.

The UPTET Application Fee 2025 is INR 600 for one paper and INR 1200 for both papers for general category candidates. It is mandatory for candidates to fill out the application form to appear for the UPTET Exam. Before proceeding with the online registration process, candidates are advised to ensure that they meet the UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2025

The UPTET Application Form 2025 will soon be made available by the UP Government on the official website. The candidates must know the ways to fill out the UPTET Online Form or they will lose the opportunity to fill out the online application form due to a lack of knowledge of the online application process. The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will not allow any candidates to take the exam who will not complete their UPTET Online Application. The steps to fill out the UPTET Online Form have been discussed in the article.

How to Fill UPTET Online Application Form 2025?

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to successfully fill and submit the UPTET Application Form 2025.

Step 1: Fill UPTET Online Application Form

To fill UPTET 2025 application form, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Visit the official website - updeled.gov.in

2. Click on 'UPTET'

3. Click on the 'UPTET Registration' button

4. Click on the 'Candidate Registration' button

5. Read all instructions carefully and click on the declaration checkbox at the bottom of the page

6. Click on the 'Apply Here' button

7. Fill in all details asked in the UPTET form as mentioned in the table below

8. Verify all details filled in the online form and click on 'Proceed'

9. Note down the system-generated registration number

Step 2: Verification of UPTET Registration

For verification, candidates should fill in the registration number and One-Time Password (OTP) received on their mobile number/email ID. It may be noted that only candidates who successfully verify their registration details will be allowed to fill in the remaining fields of the application form. 

Step 3: Fill UPTET Application Form

Once registration details are verified, candidates can now fill out the application form. Once filled, candidates can click on the 'Submit' button. It may be noted that once submitted, candidates will not be allowed to make any changes to the application form.

Step 4: Pay the UPTET Application Fee

To pay the application fee, candidates first need to log in to their registered account using their registration number and date of birth. Once logged in, aspirants can pay the application fee for UPTET through online mode via credit card/debit card. The application fee to be paid by candidates belonging to different categories is as mentioned below.

UPTET Application Form 2025: Important Points to Note

Some of the important points that candidates need to keep in mind regarding UPTET Registration 2025 are given below:

  • Candidates who wish to appear for both Paper 1 and 2 can fill out the single application form
  • UPBEB does not provide the facility for correction of the application form. Therefore, candidates must fill all details in the UPTET Application Form 2025 carefully
  • Candidates must retain the registration number till the selection process is complete
  • The application fee once paid is non-refundable
  • For the candidates who will not fill out the complete form or do not complete the payment for UPTET exam, such case, the candidate's admit cards will not be generated.

  • In 2021, there were a total of 21,65,179 UPTET registrations. Of these, 12,91,627 candidates registered for Paper 1 and 8,73,552 registered for Paper 2
  • In 2019, a total of 16,56,338 candidates registered for the UPTET exam. Out of this, 10,83,016 candidates registered for Paper 1 and 5,73,322 candidates registered for Paper 2
  • In 2018, a total of 17,83,716 aspirants registered for the UPTET exam. Out of this, 11,70,786 candidates registered for Paper 1 and 6,12,930 candidates registered for Paper 2

UPTET Eligibility 2025

The aspiring candidates can check the UPTET eligibility criteria 2025 given below in terms of age limit and educational qualification:

UP TET Age limit for Paper 1 & Paper 2

There is no age limit for applying for the UPTET exam though there is a lower age limit is 18 years in order to apply for the UPTET exam.  

UP TET Educational Qualification for Paper 1 & Paper 2

The education qualification differs for Papers 1 and 2. Candidates can check the educational qualifications for UPTET paper 1 and paper 2 given below in the article 

UPTET Paper 1 Educational Qualification (Primary Teacher)

Candidates need to fulfil any one of the eligibility conditions mentioned below in terms of educational qualification in order to appear for the UPTET Paper 1:

  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education

Or,

  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd)

Or, 

  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)

Or,

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education

Or,

  • Graduation with BEd (final year appearing or passed)

UPTET Paper 2 Educational Qualification (Upper Primary Teacher)

Candidates need to fulfil any one of the eligibility criteria given below in terms of educational qualification in order to appear for the UPTET Paper 2:

  • Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education

Or,

  • Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd

Or,

  • Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and a one-year BEd

Or,

  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BElEd

Or,

  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BA/ BScEd/ BAEd

No, there is no sectional time limit in the UPTET examination. Candidates have to complete the entire exam in a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes. That is, candidates can attempt any section as per their convenience within a total duration of 2.5 hours.
