Steps to download the NIELIT 2026 result
NIELIT 2026 O/A/B/C result for the January cycle are going to be released tentatively in the last week of April 2026. Candidates can follow below steps to download the NIELIT 2026 results.
- Open the official website: //student.nielit.gov.in/index.aspx
- Go to the Results tab at the bottom right. You will be navigated to a new page.
- Candidates will have to select their respective courses.
- Provide their examination year, name, roll number and date of birth.
- Click on 'View'
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates will have to download and print out the results for future reference.

NIELIT 2026 Exam Result
The NIELIT 2026 exam will be held in January and July for O, A, B, and C-level certification in IT & Software. Separate results will be declared for the two examination cycles. Candidates can obtain their NIELIT 2026 results online on the official website. The results are not declared in the form of marks; rather, they are sent to every candidate and to their respective institute, which conducts accredited courses from which candidates have appeared for examinations. Grades will be as follows:

- In case a candidate wants re-totalling of his/her marks for any module/paper, the same can be requested in the specific proforma within one month of the announcement of the NIELIT 2026 result. The fee for re-totalling will be INR 200 per module/paper.
- NIELIT will award certificates to the candidates on successful completion of the modules/papers and of the project.
- 'B' level candidates, on successful completion of the first ten papers common to 'A' level and of the first project, are awarded Advanced Diploma as are being issued to 'A' level successful candidates.
