AP LAWCET 2026: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released AP LAWCET Counsellin\g Dates 2026 for Phase 1. AP LAWCET 2026 counselling registration for Phase 1 admission has started on September 24. Candidates can see complete schedule and complete registration online at cap.apcfss.in. Candidates who qualified in AP LAWCET 2026 exam can register for counselling up to September 29, 2026.

APSCHE conducts Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test for admission to 3 Year and 5 Year LLB courses. AP LAWCET’s complete admission process is handled by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam. 7 Things to Check Before Filling AP LAWCET Web Options

Candidates need to check below mentioned 7 things before filling AP LAWCET Web Options

1. Check that your registration and certificate verification are complete
Web options can be filled only after you complete counselling registration and upload your documents. Certificate verification is open from September 25 to October 2, but do not wait for last day. If your documents are rejected or pending, you may lose chance to fill web options. 
Log in to cap.apcfss.in and check your verification status before you start choosing colleges. Special category candidates should note that their verification date is September 28, 2026.

2. Note web options dates and change window
Web options window is open from September 29 to October 2, 2026. There is also separate day, October 3, when candidates can change their web options. Use this day to correct any mistake or improve your college order. After that, seat allotment will be released on October 6, and you cannot make changes.

3. Check your rank, category and local status
Your seat depends on your AP LAWCET rank, your category and your local/non-local status as per Andhra Pradesh Government orders. Check that all these details on your portal are correct and match your certificates. If there is any error, get it corrected before you fill options.

4. Shortlist colleges and courses first
Do not fill web options in a hurry. Make a list of colleges before you log in. While shortlisting, check following:

• Whether college offers course you want
• Fees of course
• Location, and whether you can stay or travel comfortably
• Approval of college by Bar Council of India (BCI)
• Faculty, infrastructure, moot court and internship facilities

5. Check previous year cutoffs

Previous year cutoff ranks help you understand which college you can get. Cutoffs change every year, so use them only as a guide. For example, top colleges accepting AP LAWCET 2024 5 year LLB scores had closing ranks between roughly 290 and 550. Compare your rank with cutoff of your shortlisted colleges and divide them into three groups:

• Dream colleges: cutoff is slightly better than your rank
• Realistic colleges: cutoff is close to your rank
• Safe colleges: cutoff is much lower than your rank, so you have a good chance

6. Arrange your choices 

Seat allotment is done on basis of your rank and order of your web options. System checks your first choice first. If you do not get it, it moves to second choice, and so on. So always put your most favourite college at top and fill as many options as you can.
Do not add a college you will not join, because if it is allotted, you may lose your chance for a better one in later rounds.

7. Keep your documents and login details ready

Keep your login details, hall ticket, rank card and mobile number handy, since you may need OTPs. Never share your login details with anyone else. Before you submit, save or print list of your web options so that you can check it again on change day.

After you complete web options and change window, follow steps below:

• Check seat allotment result on October 6, 2026, on official portal.
• Download allotment order.
• Report to allotted college between October 7 and 9, 2026, with all original documents.
• Complete admission formalities and fee payment at college.
