BCI guidelines to fill AIBE 21 (XXI) Application Form 2026 

AIBE XXI (21) Application Form 2026: The AIBE Application Process 2026 has closed. Candidates could fill the AIBE 21 Application Form 2026 until April 30, 2026 (11.59 pm). Candidates were advised to fill out the AIBE 21 Application Form before the deadline.

Candidates must note that the AIBE 21 Application Process was completely online. As per the AIBE Notification, the AIBE 21 Exam 2026 will be conducted on June 6, 2027. AIBE XXI (21) Application Form 2026 can be filled by visiting allindiabarexamination.com. To begin the application process, candidates had to complete the AIBE 21 Registration. After completing this step, aspirants had to fill in their details in the AIBE 21 (XXI) 2026 application form, upload their documents and pay the application fee.

Q:   Can I prepare for AIBE Exam in one month?

If you have topped while pursuing law there is still some chance. But if you were an average student who have not prepared even once for the exam, it is next to impossible to prepare for the exam in one month. 

Q:   How to cover AIBE Syllabus effectively?
A: 

Candidates should give equal time to all the chapters and topics given in the syllabus. Candidates can also practice the syllabus and mock test. Applicants have to start preparing the topics with high weightage, followed by other topics.

Q:   Is AIBE an open book exam?
A: 

The AIBE Exam is no longer conducted in open-book format. Candidates will be allowed to carry only bare acts without notes. 

Q:   What is the last date to register for AIBE 22?
A: 

Candidates can register for AIBE 22 Exam until 27 October, 2026. The last date for fee payment is October 28. The AIBE correction window will remain open until October 30, 2026. Candidates must note that the application process can be completed by visiting allindiabarexamination.com.

AIBE XXI (21) Registration 2026: Documents required for AIBE Application Process

Before filling out the AIBE 21 Application Form 2026, aspirants were advised to be ready with the documents as mentioned by BCI:

Enrolment certificate as issued from the state bar council in original and a scanned copy 50KB to 500KB 
Photograph 10 KB to 50 KB 
Signature 10 KB to 50 KB 
Self-attested photo ID- Passport, Voter ID, Advocate ID card, Aaadhaar Card, Driver's License 50KB to 500KB

AIBE Registration 2026: Who is eligible to apply?

Only those candidates who fulfilled the eligibility criteria mentioned below were eligible to complete AIBE 21 Registration 2026.  Check the All India Bar Examination Eligibility details in the table below:

Qualifying exam

Candidates who have passed a three-year LLB or five-year LLB degree or in final year without any backlog are eligible to appear for AIBE exam. Therefore, academic qualifying exam for AIBE candidates is 

  1. 3-year LLB degree, OR
  2. 5-year integrated LLB degree

Minimum marks in qualifying exam

The BCI mentions no minimum marks are required for appearing in the AIBE exam. However, a candidate must secure a minimum percentage or grades in their law degree as prescribed by universities for further education. 

Age limit for AIBE exam

There is no upper or lower age limit for appearing in the All India Bar Examination. 

State Bar Council Registration/Enrollment 

A candidate must be registered with their State Bar Councils as an Advocate. As State Bar Council enrollment is mandatory for AIBE eligibility. 

Candidates not enrolled as an advocate with the SBC, will not be able to apply for AIBE XXI (21) Application Form 2026

Steps to fill AIBE XXI (21) 2026

Candidates could fill out the application form for AIBE XXI (21) 2026 by following the simple steps given below:

To apply for the AIBE XXI (21) Exam, candidates had to register themselves first. Visit allindiabarexamination.comClick on the Registration link. The AIBE registration page appeared as under: 

 

Next, the AIBE 21 Registration Number and  Password were sent to the registered email address. Next, candidates were required to log in with these details as under:

 

 

2. Fill AIBE 21 (XXI) Application Form 2026

Candidates could check the details to enter on AIBE application form 2026 below:

  • Name
  • Gender
  • Father’s/husband’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Permanent address
  • Email ID
  • Mobile number
  • Test centre preferences (at least 3)
  • Choice of test paper language (any 1 from available languages)

Further, aspirants had to fill in details about their LLB degree and year of enrollment with the State Bar Council. Once these details were filled out, candidates needed to click on the 'Next' button to proceed. 

AIBE XVI Application Form: LLB Degree Details

Next, candidates had to mention their category details. Candidates could go back to the previous form if they have to edit any detail using the 'Back' button at the top right of the application form. 

Note: *Extra 20 min/hour would be provided to the candidate with more than 80% disability or discomfort. However, the approval for the scribe and extra time would remain the discretion of the council.

Next, candidates could select AIBE exam centres. Here, aspirants had to select their top three preferences and the question paper language from any of the 23 languages allowed.

Next, the candidates had to upload the documents as under:

Next, the confirmation page would have appeared on the screen and the page would be redirected to the login page as under:

Candidates were also sent a confirmation message on their registered mobile numbers, which they had to enter in the login form: Password and OTP. The application fee for AIBE  could be paid in online mode only using any of the e-payment methods:

The candidates who are in their last year of Law Degree Course and the candidates who have passed the degree course but not registered in the State Bar Council will be required to submit the AIBE undertaking form with their application form.
