Early preparation is always the key to success and helps an individual to score well. Refer to the right course material, make notes, and revise all the topics to prepare for RULET.

Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test is also known as RULET. Rajasthan University offers five years of integrated LLB courses. RULET is an offline exam to appear for GD and PI. A total of two hundred marks are allotted for all the sections included in the exam. Distribution of marks for each section is as follows:

Language Ability: 50 marks

Legal Reasoning: 30 marks

Social Studies: 40 marks

Logical Reasoning: 40 marks

General Science:  40 marks.

The sample papers for preparation are available online. Students should allot time for solving sample papers in their timetable.  Sample papers are also available on the official website of RULET.

General Knowledge and Science Section would include topics like environment, constitution, science and technology, UN bodies, general science, Indian and world history. Legal reasoning syllabus would include vocabulary, grammar rules, verbal reasoning problems, antonyms and synonyms, one-word substitution and sentence correction.

Social Studies includes prominent social, political and cultural aspects, economic and sports events and news, notable recognitions and awards, famous books and their authors. Name of various reputed international level organisations. Records made at different levels.

A book named “Word Power Made Easy” by Norman Lewis is helpful in preparing for English questions related to vocabulary. This book gives the root of the word to derive the meaning of other words also associated with the same root.

RS Aggarwal is the famous author of Mathematics. Quantitative content prepared by RS Aggarwal is very easy to understand even for students from a non-technical background.

MK Pandey is the most preferred author for Logical Reasoning.

General Knowledge book by Lucent provides insights about all traditional subjects (like History, Political Science, Geography, and Science) for this particular stream. AP Bhardwaj books for legal aptitude for CLAT so that content can be used here for this exam. The newspaper has no substitute, so to get the latest updates on Current Affairs, read the newspaper every day, and make note of important events.

Candidates must note that the cutoff will decide if you will get admission or not. You must follow all the guidelines released by the University to avoid any problem.

Candidates must note that the University of Rajasthan will publish the RULET Scorecard on its portal uniraj.ac.in. Candidates must note that no other portal will host the result.

If you are looking forward to getting admission in LLB courses offered by Rajasthan University, it is mandatory to clear the RULET Exam. There is no other way to get seat in the varsity for undergraduate law courses.

There is no way to get enrolled in UniRaj without meeting the cutoff.  Candidates who will clear the RULET exam will be called for counselling. Those who will meet the cutoff will be able to participate.

To apply for RULET Exam 2026 you need

  • Class 10 & 12 mark sheet
  • Recent passport sixe photo
  • Valid government ID proof
  • Category certificate
  • Disability proof (if applicable)
