Common Mistakes to Avoid during the TS LAWCET 2026 Application Process

It is most important to fill out the TS LAWCET 2026 Application Form correctly; even a minor mistake can cost cancelation of the application or problems during admission. Check some of the mistakes that can be avoided while filling the TG LAWCET Application Form 2026.

Incorrect Personal Details

Entering wrong personal information, including spelling errors in their name, incorrect date of birth, or mistakes in their parent’s names, are the most common mistakes. These details must match exactly with your class 10th certificate because officials will check these documents during the admission process.

Uploading Wrong or Unclear Photographs and Signatures

While filling out the TG LAWCET application, the photograph and signature you upload will appear on your TS LAWCET hall ticket. Many students upload photos that don’t meet the size or quality specifications set by the council. Your signature should be clear and should match the one you will use during the examination.

Make sure your photograph is recent, passport-sized, and has a plain light-colored background. Your face should be clearly visible. Check the specification requirement below.

Document

Specifications

Photograph

  • Recent photo in colour print
  • Size less than 30 KB,
  • JPG file format

Signature

  • Size less than 15 KB
  • JPG file format

Documents

  • Format: PDF
  • Size: 10kb to 500kb

Providing Wrong Educational Qualification

Your educational details must be entered accurately. This includes your board or university name, year of passing, roll number, and percentage of marks. Many students make mistakes when converting their CGPA to a percentage or round off their marks incorrectly.

Mistakes in Category and Reservation Details

If you belong to SC, ST, OBC, or any other reserved category, make sure you have valid certificates before claiming reservation benefits. You must have the necessary category certificates, unable to provide certificates can result in permanent disqualification from the examination.

Application Fee Payment Problems

Many students face issues during the TS LAWCET application fee payment process. Some select the wrong payment method, while others don’t complete the transaction properly. After making the payment, always wait for the confirmation page to load completely. Take a screenshot or printout of the payment receipt for your records.

Filling the TG LAWCET Application Form on the last day

One of the biggest mistakes is filling the application form near the deadline. Last-minute applications often contain errors because of limited time left, server problems, and a lack of proper checking. The website may also become slow when many students try to apply at the same time.

Not Reviewing Application Before Final Submission

After filling out all the details in the TS LAWCET application form, many students submit the form without reviewing their entries. This is a major mistake because once submitted, you usually cannot make changes. Take time to go through each section of your application carefully. Check all spellings, numbers, and selections. Make sure all uploaded documents are clear and correct.
