AIMA will be conducting a special MAT exam for candidates wishing to get admission in the current academic session can appear for this special MAT session in PBT mode.
AIMA will be conducting MAT Special Drive on September 6, 2026 for candidates who wish to take admission into a full time MBA course in the current session. AIMA will be conducting this MAT as AICTE has extended the admission window for current academic year.
The exam will be held in PBT mode on September 6 and candidates can apply by September 1. Admit card for MAT SD-PBT will be released on September 3, 2026. To ensure that candidates don’t miss the admission in the current academic year, AIMA will release the MAT SD PBT result on September 11, 2026.
How to Apply for Special MAT PBT?
MAT SD PBT application window is open. Candidates can fill up the form by following the steps given below:
- Visit AIMA MAT, and click on register option
- Enter Name, Phone Number, Email ID, State/City and set a password
- Confirm details and click on submit button
- An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number
- Verify phone number to confirm registration.
- Use the credentials sent in email to fill the form.
- Upload a recent passport size photo and signature.
- Select five MBA colleges from the given list.
- Pay the MAT fee of INR 2300
- Add personal details, academic details, address, etc.
- Click the declaration check box to complete the process.
Registration window of regular MAT September 2026 is also open now. Candidates can apply for MAT September PBT by September 7 and CBT by September 14. MAT PBT will be held on September 13 and MAT CBT will be held on September 20.
- MAT application fee is INR 2300 for one session and INR 4000 for 2 sessions
- Application window for MAT PBT will close on September 7 and for MAT CBT, it will close on September 14
- From now onwards, the score of Economic and Business Environment will be included in MAT score calculation
