MAT Score Validity for MBA Admissions: The MAT score 2026 for the September session is valid for one year. MAT is a business aptitude test, conducted in multiple phases in a year by the All India Management Association (AIMA). Candidates who appear for the MAT exam for a session can get admission to approximately 800 colleges in India to MBA/PGDM courses. The MAT scorecard will be made available on the official website after the successful administration of the entrance test. AIMA has announced the registration schedule, exam dates and MAT admit card release date for September session. Candidates can check the official website for any updates on MAT 2026 exam.

How Long is MAT Score Valid?
It is important to know the MTA score validity for MBA admission before registering for the entrance test. According to the official website, MAT score is valid for one academic year from the date of result declaration only. This means that if a candidate appears for the MAT 2026 exam, he/she will be eligible for MBA admissions for 2026-2027 batch only. If a candidate wishes to drop a year after appearing for the MAT exam or does not score well in the exam or does not meet the eligibility/selection criteria of MAT colleges, he/she will have to appear for the exam again.
However, as MAT is conducted in multiple phases in a year, candidates are advised to check the admission cycle of their target MBA colleges to know which session's MAT scores will be valid for admission.

To know their score validity for the current exam session, candidates have to log in with their credentials on the official website for MAT exam. Check out the steps below to know the process:
- Visit the official website of MAT exam: mat.aima.in
- Click on 'Login for MAT'
- Enter Roll Number and Registration Number
- Click on the 'Submit' tab
- Select Exam Month
- Go to the scorecard download option
- MAT scorecard will appear on the screen
- Download it and save on desktop
