Q:   Where can I find ATMA mock test?
A: 

To know the paper pattern and ATMA question paper, ATMA mock test is being conducted before the ATMA exam. The mock test will be available on the ATMA official website at least two days before the exam date. Candidates must know that it is mandatory for the registered candidates planning to appear for the ATMA exam to take the ATMA mock test. To know how to appear for the ATMA mock test follow the steps mentioned below: 1. Visit the official website of ATMA AIMS 2. In the topmost bar, click on Mock Test button 3. Candidates will be redirected to a new webpage 3. Login using the email ID and password which the candidates used to register themselves for the ATMA exam 4. After login, candidates will be redirected to a new window where they will have a set of instructions that they need to follow 5. Click on the tab indicating Mock Test 1 after reading the instructions carefully and take the test.

Q:   Are there subjective-type questions in the ATMA exam?

No, there are no subjective type or long form answer questions in the ATMA exam. The ATMA question paper only has 180 MCQs that are to be solved in three hours or 180 minutes. Students must attempt all the sections, keeping in mind that the exam has negative marking. They must note that each question in the ATMA question paper will have four options. They will be required to choose the correct answer and select the radio button for the answer.

The following documents will be required for ATMA 2026 registrations:

  • Digital copy of passport-size photograph and signature of the applicant
  • Digital copy of the latest OBC (Non-creamy) / SC / ST / DAP category certificate as applicable
  • Digital copies of mark sheets of Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation
  • Sponsored candidates are required to upload a sponsoring certificate as per the format available on the official ATMA website

Q:   What are the important topics of the Quantitative Ability section in the ATMA exam?

Quantitative Ability section of the ATMA question paper is one of the toughest sections. The important topics of this section include Arithmetic, Algebra Modern Math, Geometry, Number System Average, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Time, Speed and Distance, Mensuration Permutation and Combination, Quadratic Equation, Logarithm, Probability Statistics Pie Chart, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Mixture and Allegations, Time and Work, etc. The Quantitative Skills In the first section of the ATMA exam and this section is difficult in nature and in the second part of this section, the difficulty level rises. However, the overall difficulty level can be considered to be moderate to difficult. The Quantitative Ability section (Part 1 and Part 2) carries 30 multiple-choice questions each which are to be solved within 60 minutes. The medium of ATMA question paper is English. The pattern of the ATMA exam has not changed from the past few years. The latest ATMA question paper pattern is as follows:

  • ATMA exam will be conducted in the CBT test mode. 
  • Duration of the exam is 3 hours.
  • Exam consists of 180 Multiple Choice Questions carrying one mark each.
  • Total marks are 180. 
  • Questions are from three sections, i.e. Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, and Quantitative Skills.
  • There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers.

The ATMA mock test will be available online on the official website of ATMA AIMS. The mode of conduction will be the same as the actual ATMA exam. Candidates who have successfully registered for the ATMA exam and paid the application fee can take the mock test once they have downloaded the ATMA admit card. The ATMA mock test will be conducted for 45 minutes. The mock test will be conducted to familiarize the students with the paper pattern and prepare the students with the time-based exam and help them tackle the sectional time limit. Students must login at least ten minutes prior to take the exam. To login, students can use their User ID and Password which they received on the registered email ID. The mock test is mandatory for every candidate who will appear for the ATMA exam.

Ideally, students should start preparing the ATMA mock test after they have completed the ATMA syllabus. Since ATMA exam is conducted multiple times in a year, students should start with sectional mock tests. For instance, those who have appeared for the February session but is planning to appear for the May exam again, can directly start solving the ATMA mock tests. The motive is to judge your preparation progress. They can study the syllabus and practice mock tests simultaneously too as they do not have to start studying from scratch. Solve one ATMA mock test in a day and analyse it in detail. Check your accuracy level, time taken and knowledge of questions individually as it will help you in understanding which type of questions are easy for you and which are tough.

No section in the ATMA exam has the higher or lower number of questions. Each section in the ATMA exam has equal number of questions.

According to ATMA eligibility criteria 2026, the candidate should be a graduate from a recognised university in the 10+2+3 scheme. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for the exam. There is no age limit for ATMA. Besides, candidates who have applied for the ATMA exam earlier can reapply for other sessions. The candidates applying for the ATMA exam should be Indian citizens. 

ATMA Syllabus 2026

ATMA 2026 syllabus is prescribed by the Association of Indian Management Schools. It includes the important topics and sub topics that students should study of the six sections of ATMA question paper 2026. ATMA May question paper 2026 will consist of six sections, i.e. Analytical Reasoning (Part I and II), Quantitative Skills (Part I and II) and Verbal Skills (Part I and II).

Yes, candidates can appear more than once for ATMA exam. ATMA is held three to five times a year and scores of best attempt would be considered for admissions to colleges accepting ATMA scores.
