PUMBA MBA Admission 2026 via ATMA: Cutoff, Eligibility & Dates

There are many MBA colleges which accept 85 percentile in ATMA exam. Sometimes, the institutes conduct multiple rounds of counselling where the cutoff may tone down a little. ATMA scores are accepted by over 700 management colleges in India. Students who appear for the ATMA exam can get admission to various top MBA, MCA PGDM and MS colleges in India. Each participating institute releases an ATMA cut off after the exam is conducted. Those who meet the ATMA cutoff will be called for further selection process which includes GD What and PI. The selection process is a 4 step process:

• ATMA exam: Students need to appear for the ATMA exam on the scheduled date. The exam is conducted in the CBT Test mode at different exam centres across the country.
• Group Discussion: Group Discussion or GD is conducted for the students who clear the ATMA exam and meet the ATMA cutoff. They will have to talk on a particular topic and they will be judged on different grounds.
• Written Ability Test: Students will be required to take a WAT and write a short essay on any topic allotted by the panel of judges.
• Personal Interview: Students will then have to appear for an interview before the expert panel after they clear all the previous selection rounds. They will be assessed on general awareness, extracurricular activities, academics, etc.

ATMA cutoff is released by the participating institutes after the announcement of the ATMA result. More than 500 MBA colleges accept ATMA scores. ATMA scores are accepted for other courses such as MCA and MS as well. The ATMA cut-off is different for all institutes and courses. These cutoffs will be available on the official website of each participating college or institute. Candidates who have appeared for the ATMA exam must meet the cutoff of their preferred institute in order to gain admission to that particular institute. According to the previous cutoff trends, the ATMA cutoff generally ranges from 75 to 90 percentile in the top colleges accepting ATMA. Last year, the highest ATMA cutoff was for PUMBA, Pune. Shortlisted candidates who match the cutoff will be called for further selection procedure, which includes, Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Each participating institute releases its own ATMA cutoff. The ATMA cutoff determines if the student will be eligible to appear for the ATMA selection process which includes Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. The following are the various factors that determine the ATMA cutoff:

There is a good chance of receiving an interview call from Christ University with a score of 95 percentile in ATMA exam, but, admission is not guaranteed. Overall criteria includes academic profile, i.e. Class 12, Class 10 and Graduation marks. Other selection rounds at Christ University includes Micro Presentation and Personal Interview. Students have to match all the selection criteria to get admission to Christ University.
