No, a good percentile does not guarantee direct admission to colleges accepting ATMA scores. Colleges conduct different selection rounds before providing admissions. Many colleges conduct rounds such as Group Discussion, Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. Students who match the ATMA cutoff are called to participate in these rounds. Admissions are offered based on the performance of students in all these rounds. 

Students who match the ATMA cutoff criteria at an institute which accepts ATMA score will be invited to appear for the further selection process, which includes Group Discussion, Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. If the students are shortlisted after the counselling process, they have to carry a set of documents for the admission process. Students are advised to keep original documents handy. These are:

Candidates who have appeared for the ATMA exam must meet the cutoff of their preferred institute in order to gain admission to that particular institute. According to the previous cutoff trends, the ATMA cutoff generally ranges from 75 to 90 percentile in the top colleges accepting ATMA. Last year, the highest ATMA cutoff was for PUMBA, Pune. Shortlisted candidates who match the cutoff will be called for further selection procedure, which includes, Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
