
XAT registration last date 2026 has been revised to December 11, 2025. Earlier, the deadline was December 5, 2025. Candidates who have not filled the form must do so before the last date to apply for XAT 2026. The XAT fee is INR 2200 for all candidates.
The form correction window is open from December 8 to December 10, 2025. Candidates can edit their applicaiton form in this duration. This is the last chance to edit the XAT application form 2026, so if any registered candidate has not reviewed their form yet, they should do so now.

The option to select test centre is not there in the XAT application form, but candidates can select cities where they can appear for the exam. XAT is conducted in about 79-80 cities across India and candidates get the option to choose two cites for centre allotment. They have to make this choice in the XAT application form. In the XAT application form, there is one field in which you have to select the test cities, you can simply select the cities of your choice from the drop down. The exam conducting authorities will allot a test centre in the city of first choice to every student. In case, the seat get filled in the centre of a particular city, the seat will be allotted to remaining candidates in the city selected as second option. The centre allotment is done on first come first serve basis. Candidates must fill the XAT application form and submit it as soon as they can so that they are allotted a centre in the city of their choice.
On successful registration after clicking the ‘Submit’ button, an acknowledgement page will be generated with “XAT Id”. This will be a confirmation that XAT registration has been done and form is submitted.

XAT exam fee is not refundable. Candidates cannot request refund of XAT fee under any circumstances. They should fill XAT application fee with correct details and with no errors. If they make a mistake in entering details, they will have to fill the form again with a new ID and pay the fee again.
Once the XAT fee payment is process, the candidate will get an email and SMS regarding the same from their bank. The application form screen will also display 'payment successful' message. XLRI will then send a mail and SMS regarding successful fee payment and application form submission. In case, you do not receive the mail or message from XLRI (XATONLINE) within 24 hours, contact XATONLINE helpdesk.
XAT 2026 Form Correction
XAT form correction is a one time process. Check below how to edit already submitted XAT 2026 exam form:

- Click on login option
- Enter user ID and password
- Open application form
- Make changes in relevant fields
- Preview and submit
There is no fee payment to be done for form correction. Candidates must note that once the changes have been made, they cannot be edited again.

Candidates who pursued a 5-year Integrated course after 12th and are applying for XAT exam, can mention their undergraduate and postgraduate scores in the columns specified for the same in the XAT application form. For such candidates too, the minimum academic qualification remains the same.
To edit information entered in the XAT application form, candidates need to choose the 'EDIT' option and click on save option to make changes. Candidates can choose 'EDIT' option only before submitting the XAT form not after that. Candidates must a take fresh print out of the duly filled XAT application form after modifying any details. There is no provision of form correction in XAT, unlike other MBA entrance exams where candidates are given a window of 2-3 days to edit their form, XAT has no such provision. So, candidates need to ensure that they fill the right entries and if required make the changes before fee payment or form submission. Once the form is submitted they cannot edit it. They will have to fill another form and pay the exam fee again.
However, incase it is extremely necessary, then candidates can raise a query at 'Any Query? Ask Us' option on their XAT dashboard.
XAT 2026 Registration: Key Points to Remember
Candidates must keep the following in mind while filling up the XAT 2026 application form:
- Candidates can select up to six cities for allotment of XAT exam centre.
- Once selected, the test city options cannot be edited.
- Candidates must submit the XAT form and pay the fee within the XAT 2026 registration dates otherwise the form will not be accepted.
- The XAT application form 2026 will not get submitted until the fee payment is done.
- It is not mandatory to pay the fee on the same day as form filling, but the payment is to be done before the last date, otherwise the form will not be accepted.

Candidates can apply for XLRI Delhi's Business Management programme on the official website by selecting the course and campus option while filling the XAT application form which is released in the first week of August every year. If they do not mention XLRI Delhi has their preferred exam in the XAT application form, they will not be eligible for admission to the institute. Candidates must remember that there is no separate application form for XLRI PGDM programmes, so they need to make the selection of institute in the XAT application form only. There is no option to edit the field in the form later so candidates must mention the institute in the XAT application form. Yes, candidates with less than 50 per cent in aggregate in graduation are eligible for admission to PGDM courses in XLRI. Candidates need to have minimum passing marks in Graduation. They must have however, completed their graduation from a recognised university only. Candidates planning to seek admission to an MBA college other than XLRI must check its eligibility criteria as the minimum score requirement of AICTE approved colleges is 50 percent (45 percent for Reserved categories). But having 50 per cent and above score is not a guarantee for getting selected for admission. You will need to clear the admission round which is based on XAT cut off percentile. If you do not meet the XAT cut off percentile you will not be selected for XAT personal interview round, which is the main parameter for MBA admission in XLRI.
Candidates have to option to select two cities for allotment of XAT exam centre. The exam is held in 79 cities across India and you can choose any two cities as per your choice. While selecting the test cities for exam centre allotment, candidates must note the following:
- Select your home city or the city of your current residence as your first city of preference.
- Select the second city of preference as the one to which you can easily make arrangement of travel and stay in case you are allotted a centre there.
- The exam authorities strive to allot the exam centre in the city of first preference.
- At the same time, they have the right to cancel an exam centre in case there is not enough number of students or due to any other unforeseen situation.
