DMIHER Candidates passed 12th/equivalent/ CBSE/ HSSC/ ISC/ with the mentioned marks (45% in case of candidates covered under disability act and 40% for candidates belonging to the reserved category) from any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply.
JSS Medical College Candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination 10+2 / PUC II / HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/ HSC examination of any recognized Board / University from any School/college in India / abroad after 12 years of study. The last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), and must have obtained a minimum mentioned marks taken together in PCB.

BSc Physician Assistant Admission 2025: FAQs

Q. What is the Physician Assistant course all about?

A. Course is for ones who want to have career in healthcare. These work under a physician and helps them with all the activities.
Duties include providing services such as illness diagnosis, primary treatment, drugs, first-aid and also other services in absence of a physician. 

Q. Does a Physician Assistant need NEET?

A. No, in India, a Physician Assistant does not require Medical for admission to their program. NEET is primarily required for admission to undergraduate Medical courses like MBBS and BDS. Instead, admission to a BSc Physician Assistant programme is generally based on merit, which may include academic performance and entrance exams specific to the institution. 

Q. I am doing my BSc Visual Communication. Is it possible to do a BSc Physician Assistant course after completing BSc Viscom?

A. Yes, it is possible to pursue a BSc in Physician Assistant after completing a BSc in Visual Communication but it also depends on the admission requirements of the institution. Most BSc Physician Assistant programs require a Science background especially in subjects like Biology, Chemistry and even Physics at the Class 12 level.
