The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will announce the GPAT 2026 results by April 7, 2026. Candidates who will clear the exam will become eligible to participate in the counselling process. The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is an annual all-India examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to evaluate candidates for admission to Master's (M. How to Apply for GPAT 2026 Participating Colleges?
The NBEMS will release the GPAT scores 2026 after the results. The GPAT 2026 rank will also be informed to candidates through the release of merit list. Candidates need to apply separately to the desired participating institutions with the GPAT scores. Students need to follow the process below to apply for GPAT counselling 2026-
- Check the list of GPAT 2026 participating colleges- Government, Private, Deemed after the release of GPAT 2026 result.
- Apply to respective participating college.
- Thereafter, each participating institute will release its respective GPAT cutoff scores which a candidate should meet to be eligible to participate in counselling of that particular Institution.
- Participate in counselling and seat allotment rounds.
Note: NBEMS has no role in GPAT counselling or in admission process for M.Pharm / PhD courses utilising GPAT score.

Getting 96 percentile in GPAT exam generally implies obtaining around 180 to 210 marks out of the total 500. However, the marks may vary depending on the difficulty level of question paper. For example, in GPAT 2025, the topper scored 216 marks at 96.23 percentile.
