KEAM Question Papers: On this page, candidates can find KEAM previous year question papers from 2025 to 2014. The KEAM question paper pattern has changed from 2024 onwards. Until 2023, KEAM was held as a pen-and-paper-based test. Starting from 2024, KEAM underwent major changes where the exam mode became a computer-based test (CBT) and the question paper pattern was revamped for both engineering and pharmacy.

The KEAM CBT question paper pattern is as follows: The exam has one paper with three sections (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) for BTech candidates and two (Physics, Chemistry) for BPharm candidates. The KEAM 2026 engineering candidates have to attempt a total of 150 questions in all. Mathematics has 75 questions, Physics has 45 questions, and Chemistry has 30 questions to be answered in 180 minutes.

For KEAM BPharm ONLY candidates, the KEAM question paper has 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry to be answered in 90 minutes. For each correct response, candidates are awarded FOUR marks, and for each incorrect response, ONE mark is deducted.

Q:   What is the paper 2 of KEAM?

There is no paper 1 or paper 2 in KEAM anymore. As per the revised KEAM exam pattern, KEAM will not have two papers anymore. There will be one paper. The KEAM 2026 engineering candidates have to attempt a total of 150 questions. Mathematics will have 75 questions, Physics will have 45 questions, and Chemistry will have 30 questions to be answered in 180 minutes. For KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY candidates, the Entrance Examination will have a total of 75 questions; 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry to be answered in 90 minutes. Q:   Is KEAM an online CBT exam or an offline pen and paper-based exam?

KEAM was an offline exam until 2023. Candidates had to attempt the exam in pen and paper mode. All entries in OMR answer sheet are to be made with blue or black ink BALL POINT PEN only. However, from 2024 onwards, KEAM transitioned to CBT mode.

A few days after the KEAM counselling ends, the KEAM last ranks are uploaded for all courses and institutes on the official website of KEAM - cee.kerala.gov.in.

CEE will announce the KEAM 2026 candidate response sheet release date after the exam ends. Candidates will be able to access their individual candidate response sheet under their respective logins at cee.kerala.gov.in.

The KEAM candidate response sheet is issued to each of the candidates who take the KEAM exam under their respective KEAM candidate login after the exam. The response sheet includes the record of the answers marked by the candidaes on the exam day.

No. Since KEAM has transitioned to a computer-based test from 2024, hard copies of the question papers are not provided to the candidates. However, the KEAM question paper PDFs are uploaded on the official website of KEAM after the exam is over.
