UP CPET exam has been scrapped. Admission to UP Allied and Healthcare courses will not be based on an entrance test anymore. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, has made a major change in the admission process for Allied and Healthcare courses. 2026 onwards, admission to UP Allied and Healthcare courses will be based on Class 10+2 score (merit). Interested candidates will have to apply online at ABVMU website. Candidates must fill and submit the application form online before the last date.

How to Fill UP CPET Application Form 2026
There will be no UP CPET entrance so the authority will not release UP CPET application form. Candidates willing to get admission to Allied and Healthcare courses in UP had to fill and submit the application form from May 2 to June 14, 2026.

- Complete UP CPET registration by providing name, father's name, date of birth, gender, email id, mobile number, and category.
- Candidates can the form in four stages: personal information, address, educational qualification & centre city preferences, and upload documents.
- Upload a photograph, signature, and verification sheet.
- Pay UP CPET application fees.

Frequently Asked Questions on UP CPET
The UP CPET 2026 application form will be released soon. Students must complete the registration process before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues. The authorities gave a window of around 40 days to fill the form online.
The application form of UP CPET will be filled in online mode only.
The UP CPET examination features multiple-choice questions (MCQs) focusing on Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects of class 12th standard. According to the exam pattern of UP CPET, there will be a total of 200 questions which will be asked in the exam and applicants will be given a total of 200 minutes only to solve the question paper.
There are four sections, A, B, C and D, from where questions are asked in the UP CPET exam. The individual weight of each section is 25%. For section A there are various subjects like Biology / Mathematics / Computer Science / Electronics/ Statistics / Psychology. The questions from this section asked will be in one topic only, which will be chosen by the applicants.
Atal Bihari Bajpayee Medical University UP, scrapped the UP CPET 2026 exam. Now admission will be based on class 12 marks. The application form was available online from May 2 to June 14.
Applicants who want to qualify the exam must have an understanding about the marking scheme of UP CPET. There is no negative marking scheme in the UP CPET exam. Hence students are advised to attempt as many questions as they can to qualify the exam.
After the UP CPET result is announced by the authorities, candidates must download their scorecard.
