No, once a candidate has been assigned a test center for the KEAM exam, no requests for changing the center will be accepted.

Is it compulsory to apply for both KEAM and NEET simultaneously for considering allotment in medical courses of Kerala?

Definitely Yes. For medical courses, candidates have to apply for NEET conducted by NTA and qualify the NEET exam. Moreover, he/she must be an applicant for KEAM also. This means medical aspirant have to fill the KEAM application form and enter the NEET scores in the form. Admission in medical courses will be based on NEET scores.

I want to take admission to medical course, do I still need to apply for KEAM?

Yes. All candidates who are interested in admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, BUMS courses in the state of Kerala have to apply for KEAM. But these aspirants will not have to appear for KEAM entrance exam. rather, they have to regster with their NEET scores and they will be granted seats bsed on their NEET ranks only. The KEAM entrance exam is applicable only to the engineering and BPharm aspirants.

When will CEE release the KEAM rank list?

CEE is expected to release the KEAM 2026 rank lists a month after KEAM 2026 scores are announced. The KEAM 2026 rank list is made available as a PDF on the official website - cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates whose names will appear in the KEAM rank list 2026 will be eligible to participate in the KEAM counselling process.

What is the admission criteria in engineering colleges - KEAM score or KEAM rank?

Admission is made based on KEAM ranks and not the scores. The scores are used to assign ranks to the candidates. KEAM scores with 10+2 standardised scores are used in the weightage of 50:50 to assign ranks. The KEAM 2026 rank lists PDF will be published separately for Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharma, MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BSMS / BUMS / Agriculture / Forestry / Veterinary / Co-operation & Banking / Climate Change & Environmental Science / B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU) / Fisheries and B.A. MS will be published.

Are scores of any other exam other than the KEAM exam accepted for engineering admission?

No. Apart from KEAM exam, scores of no other entrance exam are accepted for engineering admission in Kerala. All the participating colleges of KEAM for BTech admision will consider the KEAM rank for engineerig admisison. An equal weightage of 50:50 shall be given to the normalised score obtained in the KEAM Engineering exam and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination (plus two) for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure.

What is the benefit of KEAM CBT test as compared to pen and paper based test?

KEAM CBT is much more efficient as compared to the offline exam. The post-examination process takes less time like answer key release and result declaration. Until last year over three to four weeks were required to scan the OMR sheets. Now, asfter KEAM computer-based, evaluation becomes faster with the scores being made available to the candidates in the shortest time.

What is the KEAM question paper pattern?

KEAM 2026 is an objective type exam with Multiple Choice Questions based on a single response. KEAM 2026 will be held in computer-based test mode and there will be one paper with three sections (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) for BTech candidates and two (Physics, Chemistry) for BPharm candidates. Engineering exam will consist of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75, Physics having 45 and Chemistry having 30. Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam. For candidates appearing for KEAM 2026 BPharm ONLY, entrance exam will have 45 questions in Physics and 30 in Chemistry, to be completed within 90 minutes. Each correct answer will fetch candidates 4 marks, and wrong answer will lead to -1 marking.

Yes, there is a need for the password for KEAM admit card download. Candidates have to enter their application number, password and access code to access the KEAM candidate login. In case, if candidates forget their password, here's what they have to do. 1. Visit the official KEAM candidate login page. 2. Click the 'Forgot Password' option. 3. On the login page, enter application number, date of birth, OTP delivery method (choose Email or SMS) and access Enter the verification code that you receive on your registered mobile number or email address. 4. Follow the link to reset the password. Reset the password and log in with a new password. The admit card of KEAM is one of the most important documents without which candidates will not be able to appear in KEAM. Besides being used on exam day, KEAM admit card will be required during the exam counselling process as well.

Can board exam scores affect the KEAM cutoff?

Yes. KEAM rank list for admission is based on equal weightage of 50:50 given to the score obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering (Paper I & Paper II put together), and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure. The formula for standardization has been approved by the Expert Committee constituted video G. O. (Rt)No.1758/2011/H. Edn. Dated.03.11.2011: The marks secured by a student in the qualifying examination from any Board will be standardized with respect to the statistical parameters such as Global Mean and Global Standard Deviation. Thus, the KEAM cutoff is affected by boards marks.

How long are KEAM scores valid?

The KEAM scores and rank list will be valid till the closing date of admission as prescribed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court / Central councils / Universities concerned. After the announcement of KEAM scores, the candidates are asked to submit the 10+2 scores. CEE will give 50:50 weightage to the KEAM scores and the 10+2 marks to prepare the rank list. Once the scores are calculated, the candidates are ranked in order of merit. The selectio process for engineering courses via KEAM includes: Qualifying KEAM exam: Engineering aspirants have to appear in KEAM CBT exam by hetting a normalised score of 10. Check answer key and result: The result of the KEAM engineering entrance exam and answer keys will be displayed on the official website. candidates can check their qualifying status. Submit plus two marks: The candidates who qualify the KEAM exam, have to submit the class 12 marks. KEAM ranks: The candidates who submit their plus two scores are included in the KEAM engineering rank list. The rabk list will be prepared by giving equal weightage to plus two marks and KEAM normalised scores. CAP: All candidates whose names appear on the KEAM engineering rank list have to appear for the centralised admission process (CAP) for seat allotment in the colleges.

Are JEE Mains B.Arch scores considered for admission to architecture via KEAM?

No. JEE Main BArch scores are not applicable for architecture admission via KEAM. For BArch admission the scores of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is used for allocation of seats via the KEAM counselling.

KEAM admit card can be carried in either way, Candidates can carry a coloured copy or a black and white copy. KEAM 2026: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has completed the KEAM 2026 phase 3 counselling process at cee.kerala.gov.in. This was the final counselling phase of KEAM. Vacant seats in Engineering Courses after the third phase in Government and Aided Colleges will be filled through spot admissions by the Director of Technical Education, while other colleges will follow their own procedures. KEAM 2026 Entrance Exam Score

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has announced the KEAM 2026 result on the website cee.kerala.gov.in. Initially, the authority published the normalized entrance exam marks for the candidates. Following this, students were asked to upload their Class 12 scores. To determine the final admission rankings, the CEE combines both the normalised entrance scores and the board exam marks using a 50:50 weightage formula.

DeskCalendar Admit Card: Apr ' 27

KEAM hall ticket 2026 has been released online at cee.kerala.gov.in. Students have to download their KEAM admit card by logging in with their applicaiton number and password. The authorities have not used any other mode to release the hall ticket. While reporting to the allotted exam centre, students have to show their KEAM admit card 2026 along with one valid ID proof for identity verification. They will not be allowed to enter the centre, if these documents are not shown.

Q: What is KEAM computer-based test?

KEAM was shifted from the traditional pen and paper mode to computer based test in 2024. Now, a candidate is shown questions on computer screen. All answers have to be entered using the keyboard or mouse.

Since the exam is now held in shifts, normalisation of scores for engineering and pharmacy exams has been introduced. Alo the syllabus of the KEAM exam has been changed in 2024. The new revised syllabus must be downloaded from the KEAM official website and used for the exam preparation.
