
CEED 2026: IIT Bombay has made the Scorecard of CEED 2026 available on the official website from March 10, 2026, onwards. The last date to download CEED Scorecard is July 31, 2026. Candidates can download the scorecard by using their registered email ID and password. CEED Scorecard 2026 is available for download on the Candidate portal.
It is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result. The scorecards are released for all candidates who appear in the CEED exam. However, the Part-B score, Total Marks, and Merit Rank (s) will be released ONLY for candidates who meet Part-A CEED qualifying marks.

How to Download CEED Scorecard 2026?

- A login window will open.
- Fill in your email ID and password.
- CEED Scorecard will be displayed.
- Download and take a printout of the scorecard.

If the candidate fails to qualify Part A, his or her scorecard will include only the Part A score. CEED 2026 merit rank will be prepared by considering the total CEED 2026 score, which in turn will be calculated by giving 25% weightage to Part A and 75% weightage to Part B.

No, IIT Bombay will not send the hard copies of CEED 2026 Scorecard. The scorecard of CEED 2025 will be issued only in online mode. The candidate has to download it from the CEED admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. To download the scorecard, log in by entering your email id and password.
Score card of CEED 2026 will be issued to all candidates who will appear in CEED 2926 exam. So, even if you have failed to qualify Part A, you can download the scorecard.
But note that in this case, scorecard will only include qualifying status and Part A marks. Part B marks, Total marks and merit ranks will only be issued to qualified candidates. Candidates who have been assigned a merit rank can participate in the counseling process conducted by participating institutes.

CEED 2026 FINAL score
CEED 2026 may not have any provision for re-evaluation or re-totalling of scores. Any requests for rechecking or viewing answer sheets will not be considered or entertained. Marks obtained in Part-A will be used to shortlist candidates. Part-B answer books will be evaluated manually ONLY for candidates shortlisted
from Part-A.
The final score of CEED 2026 would be prepared by allotting:
- 25 percent weightage to Part A marks
- 75 percent weightage to Part B scores.

CEED 2026 results was released for all candidates who appeared in the design entrance exam. However, the CEED 2026 merit rank will only be issued to candidates who qualify for Part A and are shortlisted.

Meanwhile, the scorecard was made available for download from March 10, 2026, onward. So, you won't be able to download the scorecard at the time of declaration of CEED 2026 results.

What after CEED Scorecard?
After the declaration of the CEED Scorecard, individual institutes open their admission process on the basis of CEED Score. Candidates need to apply to them. No joint counselling is conducted for CEED by IIT Bombay.
The following should be done once CEED Scorecard is released.
1. Apply to Participating Institutes and Result Sharing Institutes: Candidates who have qualified for M.Des need to fill the M.Des application form for institutes (IITs and others) in which they wish to study. Each institute will have its own admission process and dates for admission.
2. Written Exam/Design Test: Some of the institutions may conduct their written test to give admission to CEED-qualified students.
3. Personal Interview: Some of the institutions may interview the CEED-qualified students. Students may be asked to prepare portfolio and appear for the interview.

To appear in the CEED 2027 exam, the candidate must have passed a degree, Diploma, or postgraduate degree exam of a minimum three years. There is no upper age limit or limit on the number of attempts for appearing in CEED.
Eligibility criteria for appearing in CEED 2026 exam are prescribed by IIT Bombay. Criteria are given in the information brochure. Candidate needs to carefully go through criteria and only apply for admission if they meet the requirements.
If candidate fails to meet eligibility criteria, he or she could be disqualified at any stage of the admission process. Also, the participating colleges will have a document verification session, where all documents will be cross-checked.
The CEED score is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result. This means you can use CEED scores for admission in the current academic session only. You can't use for admission in the next year.
Likewise, you can't use CEED 2026 scores for admission in the upcoming session.

The result-sharing institutes of CEED 2026 will allocate some of their M.Des seats for CEED 2026 qualified candidates. However, these institutes may also use scores of other entrance exam for admission purposes.
So, if you have qualified CEED 2026, you can apply to these institutes. Note that there will be no joint counseling for the result-sharing institutes. So, you need to apply directly to the institute you are seeking admission to.
The scorecard of CEED 2026 was released on March 10, 2026. IIT Bombay can also release the name of the toppers sometime thereafter. The details will be released in the form of a press release.
The scorecard for CEED 2026 is meant only for admission to the M.Des program offered by participating and result-sharing institutes. It cannot be used as a proof of birth. Further, the scorecard will also not be a legal document that can be used as a category or disability certificate.
Also, note that the scorecard of CEED 2026 will be valid only for a period of one year. So, if the candidate doesn’t take admission within that one-year period, the CEED 2026 scorecard will no longer be valid for admission purposes.

The CEED exam has two parts - Part A and Part B. The Part B answer booklet will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A. The minimum marks needed to qualify Part A is the qualifying cut-off for CEED Part A.
On the other hand, the admission cut-off would be released by the CEED 2027 participating institutes. It is the minimum score one needs to score for admission to the M.Des programme in their chosen category.
