PU-CET (PG) 2025: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

No, candidates who have appeared for the PU-CET (PG) exam, and cleared the cutoff, will be required to appear for the further admission process, which includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The PU-CET (PG) application fee is different for different categories. The application for PU-CET (PG) exam can be paid online as well as offline. The candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, internet-banking, UPI, etc. or offline through SBI Bank E-challan. Candidates who wish to appear for the PU-CET (PG) exam, can register themselves online on the official website. There is no provision of applying offline. Candidates should follow the steps mentioned below to register for the exam:

• Click on the 'Register' button
• Register with details such as name, phone number, email id and date of birth
• Create a login ID and password
• Pay the application fee via credit card/debit card/internet banking
• Upload a scanned copy of the photograph and signature
• Check all the information filled and select save and confirm

However, the candidates can pay the application for the PU-CET exam online as well as offline. 

PU CET (PG) registration 2025 had begun in the third week of April 2025. The PU CET PG application form was released on the official website of Punjab University. 

The number of questions in the PU-CET PG question paper may vary depending on the subject. However, for MBA, the PU CET (PG) question paper has 75 multiple-choice question. These questions are spread across the five sections of the PU CET (PG) question paper. Each question carries one mark and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. 

There are four choices for each question in the PU CET (PG) exam and the duration of the exam is 90 minutes. 

There will be a total of five sections, i.e. General Knowledge, Economics and Business Environment Awareness, Data Interpretation and Provlem Solving, Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability/ Reasoning and English Comprehension. Each question in all these sections will carry one mark each with four choices. 

PU-CET (PG) exam is conducted in the paper-based test mode. The exam is conducted for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The exam has five sections and 85 questions. Each section has equal number of multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark and has four options each. For every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted from the overall score. The total marks in the PU-CET (PG) exam is 85.
