AIIMS PG 2020 exam for the July session postponed due to COVID-19

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi has postponed the entrance test for admission to the July session of postgraduate courses. According to the notification released by the Institute, the AIIMS PG 2020 exam which was supposed to be held on May 3 has been deferred. The decision to postpone the AIIMS PG exam was influenced by the spread of novel coronavirus in India and the resultant nationwide lockdown. The new dates for the AIIMS PG 2020 exam will be announced after the situation improves.


AIIMS PG 2020 exam is conducted in an online mode. The examination is conducted twice a year, in January and July. The courses offered to those who take the AIIMS PG 2020 entrance test are: MD, MS, MDS, DM (6-year) and MCh (6-year).

AIIMS PG 2020: Next Event

The final registration for AIIMS PG 2020 began on March 19. Candidates who have cleared the basic registration can proceed for ‘Code Generation’ to complete the application process. The last date to complete the final registration is April 4. The status of AIIMS PG 2020 final registration will be displayed in the third week of April, following which candidates will get an opportunity to correct the mistakes in their applications. The actual dates of the correction window will be announced soon.
