The admit card for the CDS 2 exam 2025 was released on the official website. UPSC CDS admit card is an important document without which candidates are not given entry to the exam hall. The steps to download the admit card of CDS are given below:

Step 1: Visit the UPSC official website-upsc.gov.in

Step 2: Go to the 'What's New' Section and Click on the 'E-Admit Card CDS Exam 2025' link

Step 3: A new page will open with the download link

Step 4: Read all the instructions carefully before downloading the admit card

Step 5: After reading the instructions, click on the 'Yes' button to proceed toward downloading the admit card

Step 6: Enter the following details on the login page:

• Registration Number and date of birth, Or
• Roll Number and Date of Birth, Or
• Name, Father’s Name, and Date of Birth

Step 7: After filling in the details, click on the ‘Submit’ tab

Step 8: The CDS 2025 admit card appears on the screen

Step 9: Download the admit card and take its printout

Check below a few technical instructions related to the downloading of the CDS admit card 2025:

• Candidates should use the latest versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox Browsers to download CDS admit card
• Candidates should not use mobile phones to download the CDS admit card. They should use Windows OS on the desktop computer
• Javascript should be enabled on the browser
• Candidates should clear the cache and cookies of their browser if they find any problem in downloading the CDS admit card 
• If candidates are blocked by the server due to repetitive downloading, they should contact UPSC

The hall ticket for the UPSC CDS 2 exam comprises the following details.

Candidates are advised to check their name, father’s name, category, date of birth, photograph, and signature, etc. printed on the admit card carefully. In case there are any discrepancies in the details, candidates should immediately contact the examination authority. Candidates should provide the following details while reporting the issue:

• Exam name and year
• Registration number
• Roll number
• Postal address (Candidates need to mention the application number)

Candidates need to carry the following documents while appearing for the exam:

• Photo-identity proof (Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, Aadhar card, College/School ID card)
• Printout of CDS admit card
• Three to four passport-sized photographs

The candidates who are going to appear for the CDS exam for the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and AFA (Air Force Academy) must know the exam pattern. The UPSC CDS exam pattern has been given below for the candidates:

• The CDS exam for INA, IMA, and AFA is taken for three subjects - English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Maths 
• The exam duration for each paper is  2 hours (120 minutes)
• Each subject will have 100 MCQs 
• The maximum mark in each subject is 100 marks 
• The questions will be available in English and Hindi language
