Majority of MAH B.Ed CET 2025 Applicants Hold BA & BSc Degrees, Shiksha Poll Study Reveals
In a recent poll conducted by shiksha.com, students were surveyed about their participation in the MAH B.Ed CET 2025 session and their educational backgrounds. With MAH B.Ed CET 2025 being a key gateway for aspiring teaching careers in the state.
A poll conducted by shiksha.com recently has revealed surprising results. The poll was conducted for MAH BEd CET applicants where the students were surveyed about their participation in the MAH B.Ed CET for the 2025 session and their educational backgrounds. The poll results reveal a clear preference for teaching careers among BA and BSc graduates, with students from both the groups making up an equal share of 35% each of the total survey takers.
The survey was, โAre you applying for MAH B.Ed CET 2025? What is your degree?โ The responses are as follows:
- BA Graduates: 35%
- BSc Graduates: 35%
- BCom Graduates: 15%
- Others (Including Engineering, Diploma Holders, etc.): 14%
- Not Applying for 2025: 1%
As per this result, BA and BSc students are the largest number of applicants who apply for the MAH BEd CET. As compared to them, BCom graduates (15%) were a bit on the lower side, suggesting that commerce students are more interested in finance or management career choices as compared to teaching. The "Others" category (14%), includes engineering, law, graduates or other specialized degree holders, highlights a growing trend of non-traditional candidates exploring teaching careers. Rest, 1% would not apply for the 2025 session.
