CTET Result 2023: CTET December cycle 2022-23 result was released by the CBSE on the official website on March 3, 2023. The candidates who appeared in the CTET exam can now check their CTET Result 2023 and can download CTET Marksheet 2023 through Digilocker and UMANG Application.  Candidates must note that they can download the CTET 2023 final answer key along with the results. The CTET provisional answer key 2022-23 was published by the CBSE on February 14, 2023, and objections were accepted until February 17, 2023. After the release of the CTET result, successful candidates will get government jobs on the basis of the cut-off list, vacancy, and interview. To become a teacher in central schools, it is necessary to have a CTET certificate.

What is CTET Certificate 2023?

CBSE issues the CTET Certificate in digital format in the DigiLocker account of all qualifying candidates. Candidates will be able to download the CTET certificate after a few days of the result declaration. The marksheet and certificate of the CTET will be digitally signed and legally valid under the IT Act. When the candidate downloads the certificate, he or she will be able to apply for the teacher recruitment examination.

How long will the CTET certificate be valid?

The CTET certificate is now valid for a lifetime. CTET-qualified candidates are awarded the eligibility certificates. The CTET Certificate validity has been extended from seven years to a lifetime. Candidates qualifying for the CTET 2022-23 exam will be able to apply for teacher recruitment in Central schools at any point in time till they fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the respective recruiting agency or school. Also, Further, candidates should know that the qualifying CTET exam does not confer them the right to employment/recruitment. How to become a government teacher?

In order to be qualified for appointment as an elementary teacher of classes 6 to 8, applicants must meet any one of the given CTET eligibility criteria in terms of education qualification:

CTET selection process mainly includes fulfilling the eligibility criteria, filling out the application form, downloading the admit card, appearing for the exam, checking the results, and downloading the marksheet as well as the eligibility Certificate. The CBSE organises the CTET exam online in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam is held in several shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is for candidates who want to teach Classes 1-5 (Primary Teachers), and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to teach Classes 6-8 (Elementary Teachers).. .

After the declaration of the CTET result, candidates are awarded eligibility certificates. The exact CTET result 2024 date has not been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). However, the official notification clearly mentions that the CTET 2024 result will be released by the end of August 2024. The CBSE declares the CTET result 2024 after the completion of the assessment process. The CTET 2024 exam results will be released based on the final answer key. The CTET July 2024 result link is available on the official website of the CTET exam.

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed).
  • Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd course.
  • Graduation with minimum 45 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd in accordance with the rules and norms of NCTE.
  • Passed Class 12 exams with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and passed or appeared in the final year of four-year B.El.Ed.
  • Passed Class 12 exams with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and passed or appeared in the final year of four-year BA/BSc.Ed or BA.Ed/BSc.Ed.
  • Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd in Special Education.

Note: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD category are given a relaxation of 5 per cent in the minimum marks required to be eligible for the CTET exam.

When Will CBSE Publish The CTET Result 2023?

It is expected that, CTET result 2022-23 will be released shortly. However, it is to be noted that just getting the CTET certificate will not make a candidate eligible for a government job. CTET certificates are now valid for a lifetime.

That is, the CTET score is valid for a lifetime from the date of the declaration of CTET result. Any candidate who has cleared the CTET exam may appear again in order to improve his or her score.

What Is The Normalisation Of CTET Scores?

The CTET December cycle exam was conducted from December 28, 2022 to February 7, 2023 in multiple shifts. As a result, in each shift, CBSE used a different set of CTET question papers for 2022. As a result, in order to ensure that the exam difficulty level and CTET syllabus coverage remain comparable across all shifts, the CBSE may use a normalisation process to declare the CTET results for the December 2022–2023 cycle and adjust any variations. It is expected that the scores will be normalised based on the factors mentioned below:
