PM Modi virtually addressed the India Global Week 2020
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 9, 2020 virtually addressed the India Global Week 2020 organised at United Kingdom (UK). The three-day event will end on July 11, 2020. The Prime Minister invited the global companies to India for Business purposes. The theme of the India global week was ‘Be The Revival: India and a Better New World’.
Nepal Bans Indian News Channels
The Nepal multichannel broadcasters ban all the news channels of India except the state-owned news channel DD News. The ban came after various Indian news channels broadcasted defamatory shows against Nepal’s Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli. Nepal has issued no official order regarding the aforesaid ban.
ISRO set to launch Brazil’s Amazonia-1 Satellite in August 2020
Amazonia-1 is the first Earth observatory satellite developed by Brazil. It will be launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in August. Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) will launch Amazonia-1 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota–Andhra Pradesh.
India and Brazil entered an agreement to cooperate in the field of Outer space in 2005.
Six Strategic Bridges in Jammu and Kashmir inaugurated by Rajnath Singh
Indian Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh virtually inaugurated six strategic bridges in the sensitive border areas. These bridges are near the international borders and Line of Control.

Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Approved Startup Policy 2020
Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on July 8, 2020 approved the Startup Policy 2020 for the state. The policy is aimed to build up the much-required infrastructure which can felicitate the startups in the state. The policy objective is to establish 100 incubators in the state. The startup policy will be applicable for a period of five years. On May 20, the UP government also launched a Startup fund in the state.
