The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has conducted IBPS Clerk Shift 1 exam on August 24, 2024. According to the IBPS Clerk Shift 1 analysis 2024 August 24, the overall difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate. The English Language section was easy. The Reasoning Ability section of IBPS Clerk was moderate. The Quantitative Aptitude section of IBPS Clerk 2024 was moderate. The test paper carried a total of 100 questions. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The duration of the test is 60 minutes with sectional timings. IBPS Clerk prelims result 2024 will be announced in the mid week of September.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Shift 1 Exam Review

Shiksha visited one of the exam centres of IBPS Clerk exam in Noida to gather the feedback of students regarding the overall difficulty level of the exam. Candidates can check the feedback shared by the students on the section-wise and overall difficulty levels.

Mrinal Singh Chauhan said, "I have attempted 90 questions. The Reasoning section was moderate in terms of difficulty level. The Quant section was moderate. In Reasoning, there were two to three variable puzzle questions. The English Language section was easy."

Abhinandan Kumar said, "The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. Compared to last year, the difficulty level of the exam was tough. The Puzzles questions were moderate and the level of English was easy."

Muskan said, "The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy. The Reasoning questions were easy and doable. The Maths paper was average. The paragraph question asked in the English section was a bit hard. I have attempted 35 questions in Reasoning. In Maths, I have attempted 29 questions. In English, I have attempted 20 questions."

Yes, IBPS Clerk cut off is also released for the reserve list. Candidates from the reserve list are offered allotment as per the requirement of the banks. The reserve list cut off remains valid for a financial year. A reserve list to the extent of approximately 10 percent of the vacancies under each category is kept, subject to the availability of candidates.

Yes, there are sectional cut off in IBPS Clerk exam. Candidates are required to secure both the section-wise and overall cut off marks. In case candidates secure the sectional cut off but not the overall cut off, are not selected for the recruitment process. IBPS Clerk cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam. Based on the IBPS Clerk prelims cut off, candidates are selected for the Mains exam. The final selection of candidates is done based on the cut off of the Mains exam. To announce the final cut off, the marks are converted out of 100. IBPS also maintains a reserve list cut off for IBPS Clerk exam.
