IBPS PO objective section comprised four objective tests - Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language and Data Analysis & Interpretation. IBPS PO 2019 Mains Exam Analysis by Students
Shiksha visited one of the exam centres of IBPS PO in Sector 62, Noida, to gather the reactions of students regarding the difficulty level of exam. Candidates who had appeared in the exam shared their views which are as follows:
Akash Srivastava, an SSC CGL aspirant said, “Reasoning section was tough. Questions were asked from puzzles. The overall paper was difficult. English was easy but lengthy. Maths was bit calculative and Lengthy compared to last year. Question from Current Affairs were based on the events that happened in the month of October and November. Compared to last year, the paper was difficult."
Another candidate Vivek Jain said, “The exam paper was similar like previous years’. The difficulty level was moderate to difficult. There was no any technical glitches. Reasoning section was moderate and comprised of 17 to 18 questions. Quantitative section was highly difficult. This section was time consuming too. General Knowledge section was good most of the current affairs questions were from October to November events. English section was easy to moderate. Descriptive section questions were also easy if the time-management is good. There were no questions from Computer section.”
Shubham said, “The overall paper was moderate to difficult. Reasoning and Quantitative section was tough but English was easy. General Knowledge section carried questions from the events that happened in the month of September, October and November.”
Sushil Kesari said, “Reasoning section was difficult. English section was easy. General Knowledge section questions were most recent events. There were some glitches but it was resolved.”
Gaurav Anijwa who has completed M.Com and teaches students said, "The exam was good. Reasoning section was tough while Quantitative section was calculative. English and General Knowledge section was good."
Shekhar said, "The paper to similiar to last year. There were questions from passages in English. Questions in Essay was asked from Social Media."
Rohit Mishra said, "The overall difficulty was moderate to difficult. The question paper was in similar lines with SBI PO exam."

IBPS PO Exam Analysis 2019 for English Language: This section carried total 35 questions. Total marks allotted for English Language section are 40. The difficulty level of this section was easy to moderate. The paper had 3 sets of reading comprehensions and their questions were trandomly arranged. The topics of the passages are:

General Awareness section comprised questions from the events that took place recently. Total 40 questions were asked in this section. Total marks allotted to this section are 40. General Awareness was relatively moderate compared to Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Topics from where questions were asked are:

Total 45 questions were asked in this section. Total marks of this section are 60. There were no questions from Computer Aptitude. The difficulty level of this section was difficult.
