NRA CET: Selection Process
The aim of the NRA CET is to release the burden from other examination agencies like SSC, IBPS, and RRB by conducting the initial phase of the exam process. The screening/ preliminary phase of the exam will be done by NRA CET 2022. In this screening process, the aspirants have to go through a Common Eligibility Test (CET) and the qualifying aspirants will go for the tier2/mains of respective exams. The score obtained by the qualifying aspirants in the NRA CET will be valid for 3 years and will be used to shortlist the candidates by the agencies like SSC, RRB, and IBPS for the tier 2 exams. This process enables the candidates to focus on a single exam to qualify for different examinations in a single attempt. The aspirants who will not qualify for the NRA CET exam can take the exam next time as the examination will be conducted twice a year.

The National Recruitment Agency will conduct three different online exams on the basis of the qualifications of aspirants that is class 10th, class 12, and the graduates. The candidates will be able to schedule their test and the test center of their choice. According to the NRA, the NRA CET infrastructure will be created in about 117 districts and it will be conducted over 1000 centers in every district of India.
