The National Testing Agency will release the UGC NET English Question Paper and the UGC NET Provisional Answer Key. NTA conducted the UGC NET English Exam on August 21, 2024. UGC NET English Question Paper

The authority released the question paper for the UGC NET subject-wise exam along with the provisional answer key and response sheet. The exam was held from August 21 to September 4, 2024. The English paper was conducted on August 21. It will help the candidates understand the pattern of an exam, standard of questions, section-wise weightage, and more. 

University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test is a national-level exam conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for only Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor posts in Indian universities and colleges.

Q:   When should I start preparing for UGC NET exam?

Therefore, it is important to start preparing early and stay consistent with your preparation.  English Exam Pattern

English Syllabus (Paper 2) 

Paper 2 is the paper of specialisation for the exam. The total number of questions asked were 100 for a total mark of 200. There is no negative marking for the incorrect answers. The detailed syllabus is given below:

No. A candidate will not receive the UGC NET City Intimation Slip by post. The authority will release the City slip on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates required their login credentials to download the city slip including the application number and date of birth.

Yes. It is important for a candidate to carry the UGC NET admit card to the examination centre. Without it, candidate will not be allowed to sit in the exam. It consists of the details like name of a candidate, photograph, shift, reporting time, exam day instructions, etc.
