CUET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: Important Guidelines
National Testing Agency (NTA) releases several guidelines for the students, like what things they can bring and what's not allowed in the examination hall, what stationery and documents the candidates are allowed to bring on the exam day, and several other important instructions. Candidates can check the same below:

- Apart from the CUET 2026 Admit Card, candidates must also carry the following documents to the CUET test centres:
- Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in

Candidates can check the CUET 2026 allotted exam centre upon release of CUET intimation slip and CUET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the CUET application form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the intimation slip for CUET exam. The name of exam centre will be mentioned on the intimation alip in advance to help candidates make preparations accordingly. The CUET 2026 admit card is expected to release three to four days prior to the day of examination in online mode. CUET 2026 exam was held in two slots. first slot was held between 9 AM to 12 PM and second slot was held between 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates could check the exact subject-ise timings on their admit card.
As per CUET exam pattern, the subjects are divided into three sections as:
Section I- Languages
Section II- Domain Subject
Section III- General Test
Candidates will get 60 minutes for each subject. Candidates will not be given extra time.

Candidates must complete verification process and take their seats immediately after the opening of examination hall. DU CSAS portal 2026 will be actiavted at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. University of Delhi launchs CSAS portal 2026 in June. Candidates who will appear for the CUET 2026 exam can register at DU CSAS 2026 portal. Candidates will be required to enter the college and course preference and pay the DU CSAS registration 2026 fee to participate in the admission process. CUET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: Dress Code
On the day of the examination, candidates must follow the CUET exam dress code to appear for the test. Refer below to know the CUET 2026 exam day guidelines for dress prescribed by NTA:
- Heavy clothes with long sleeves will not be permitted.
- In case, candidates come in cultural/ customary dress at the Examination Centre, they should report at least an hour before the last reporting time so that there is enough time for proper frisking without any inconvenience to the candidate while maintaining the sanctity of the examination.
- Slippers, and sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted.
- In case of any deviation required due to unavoidable (medical, etc.) circumstances, specific approval of NTA must be taken before the release of CUET 2026 admit card.

Candidates who are appearing for the CUET exam 2026 are advised to check the CUET exam day guidelines below:
- Candidates should try to reach the examination centre 1-2 hours before the CUET Exam begins. It must be noted that candidates will not be allowed to enter the CUET 2026 exam centre 30 minutes prior to the exam commencement.
- No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/ Hall before the end of the examination
- If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit the Centre early for thorough checking and mandatory frisking
- Frisking through a Handheld Metal Detector (HHMD) will be carried out without physical touch
- Candidates must enter the required details, paste the Photograph and put a thumb impression at the appropriate place on the CUET Admit Card 2026. They should ensure that their Left-Hand Thumb Impression is clear and not smudged
- Candidate must carry “Any one of the original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the Government”- PAN card/Driving Licence/Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E-Aadhaar/ Ration Card/ Aadhaar Enrolment No. with Photo. All other ID/Photocopies of IDs even if attested/scanned photo of IDs in the mobile phone will NOT be considered as valid ID Proof.
- A PwD candidate may be allowed Compensatory/ Extra time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination, whether such a candidate(having a physical limitation to write) uses the facility of Scribe or not
- PwBD candidates must bring a PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority if claiming relaxation under the PwD category. The Scribe provided by the NTA must also carry his/ her own Self Declaration (Undertaking) regarding educational qualification, passport-size photograph, valid government identity
- A duly filled-in Admit Card must be handed over to the Invigilator while leaving the examination Hall/Room. Failure to do so may result in the non-evaluation of your answers
- No Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination practices. All the Examination Centres are under surveillance of CCTV and equipped with Jammers
- The candidate should ensure that the Question Paper available on the computer screen is as per his/her opted subject/medium indicated in the Admit Card. In case, the subject/medium of the Question Paper is other than his/her opted subject/medium, the same may be brought to the notice of the Invigilator concerned
- The candidates are advised to carefully read the Subject-Specific Instructions and other instructions mentioned in the Question paper and abide by the same
- If at any stage, it is found that the candidate has submitted multiple applications, his/her candidature will be cancelled and legal action will be taken, including debarring in all future examinations conducted by NTA.
