CUET PG 2024 admission process event schedule has been announced by the exam authority, NTA. The CUET PG 2024 registration process started on December 26, 2024. With the start of CUET PG 2024 application process events, NTA has implemented many significant changes for the academic session 2024-2025. Candidates can read out this Shiksha article to get the details on the list of changes introduced by the NTA for this year's session.
Recently in the press release by NTA, CUET PG 2024 registration last date has been extended until January 31, 2024, by the exam officials. In the public notice, NTA mentioned that due to large number of universities, including Central & State universities, are participating in CUET PG 2024 admission process, the deadline for CUET PG 2024 registration form has been extended again from January 31, 2024 to February 7, 2024 upto 11:50 PM. Before filling out the CUET PG 2024 application form candidates must check minimal eligibility criteria of the particular PG programme in which they want to appear. Candidates will have a time window until February 1, 2024 to pay the CUET PG 2024 registration fee. CUET PG 2024 registration fee will be paid through Credit/Debit Card/NetBanking/UPI.

CUET PG 2024 registration process will be completely online. Aspirants who are appearing for the examination are advised to check the eligibility criteria conscientiously before applying for the application form. NTA will also mention the general eligibility and course-specific (in the particular university) eligibility criteria in the information brochure.
NTA had started the CUET PG 2025 application process on January 2, 2025, at the official website for admissions to the masters degree programmes offered at various participating institutes.
CUET PG registration process 2025 is completely online, and candidates can fill out the application form by creating a registered account at the official website. The last date for filling out the CUET PG application form 2025 will be January 1, 2025, till 11:50 pm.
CUET PG 2026 examination is expected to be scheduled in the month of March, 2026. Aspirants preparing for the CUET PG exam will be able to fill the online application form in the month January 2026. While filling up the CUET PG online application form, test taker can select only one subject in one slot of the examination day. However, from the previous year academic year, they were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all.
Before choosing the multiple subjects for the examination, candidates are advised to check the minimal education eligibility criteria for the particular course candidate has applied for. Also check the university specific subject criteria for the subject a candidate wants to appear for.

CUET PG 2024 Events
CUET PG online registration last year started on March 20, 2022, and the examination commenced in the month of June. However, this year, the exam authority has started the CUET PG 2024 application process early and is expected to conclude the admission process earlier as compared to previous year. CUET PG 2024 Official Website
CUET PG official website for the academic cycle 2024-2025 has been changed this year. Last year the official website of CUET PG exam was cuet.nta.nic.in. However, for this year, the official website is pgcuet.samarth.ac.in. Knowing the official website for the examination is a very important piece of information, as the official website will serve all the queries of CUET PG 2024 aspirants. Candidates will need this official website for registration in CUET PG 2024 application form, for downloading the information brochure and for getting updates on the latest updates released by NTA.
CUET PG 2024 Exam Centres
NTA has added two more CUET PG 2024 exam centres upon the requests received from candidates for their convenience. Gurugram (Haryana) and Srinagar (Uttarakhand) will now be shown in the CUET PG 2024 exam city preference list while filling out the CUET PG 2024 application form.
The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment of the fee by
the Candidate. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee, then the candidate may have to
approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway (in the helpline numbers and email) for ensuring the successful payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate /multiple payments.
The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card and UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable from the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator.
CUET PG 2025 registration process for the academic year 2025-2026 is expecetd to start in last week of December, 2024, tentatively. The last date for filling out the CUET PG 2025 application form will be notified soon. The last date of successful transaction fee of CUET PG 2025 application form through Credit/Debit Card/NetBanking/UPI will be updated soon.

NTA is yet to release the information brochure and exam notification for the academic session 2025-2025. As per the previous year, it is observed that NTA has provided total 2 options/ choices to the aspirants who are filling the CUET PG 2025 application form to select the exam cities.
However, in the year 2022 NTA has provided 4 choices to candidates to select their exam citiy preferences. The NTA has also reduced the selection of the exam city preferences for CUET-PG 2024 exam.
NTA reserves the right to allot any exam city to the candidates that is not among your selected choices.
In comparison to previous year, the number of exam centres in India for CUET PG 2023 has been reduced. Now the exam centres in India are now 302 which was 313 centres last year. However, the number of exam centres outside India/ overseas remained same. CUET PG 2024 exam centres outside India are 24.
CUET PG 2024 Exam Pattern (Changed)
CUET PG 2024 exam pattern for the academic session 2024-2025 has been amended. As per the information brochure, the CUET PG 2024 exam will comprise only domain knowledge questions. The general section/ Part A of CUET PG exam has been removed from here on. There will be only 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) about the particular course to which the candidate has applied. The domain-specific questions will now be there to test the candidate's analytical and cognitive approach towards the applied course in the CUET PG 2024 examination.

CUET PG 2024 Marking Scheme
There will be 75 domain-specific questions that will be asked in the examination. The maximum marks that a candidate can score will be 300 marks, which was 400 marks last year. The marking scheme of the CUET PG 2024 exam is as follows:

For each correct response, candidates will get four marks.

For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the total score.

Unanswered/un-attempted answers will be given no marks.
CUET PG 2024 Exam Duration
With the change in the CUET PG 2024 exam pattern, the total duration of the exam has also changed. Earlier the maximum time or stipulated time for the candidates to attend the CUET PG exam was 2 hours. However, this year the exam authority has reduced the exam timing, which is now 105 minutes or 1 hour 45 minutes.
CUET PG Application Fees 2024 increased
CUET PG 2024 application fees have increased from last year, when the fees for the general category was INR 1000, for the selection of up to three test papers. This year, the application fee has increased by INR 200, which is now INR 1200 for the general category for the selection of up to two subjects. Also, the application fee outside India has increased by INR 1000, which is now INR 6000 for the selection of up to two subjects.
