CUET 2024 Chemistry Question Paper Analysis
CUET answer key 2024 Chemistry has been released at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Candidates who appeared for CUET UG 2024 Chemistry exam on May 15 and May 29, 2024 will be able to download the CUET 2024 response sheet online when released. Candidates will be able to challenge the CUET answer key 2024 within the given period. CUET 2024 results will be announced soon after the final answer key is released. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted CUET 2024 Chemistry exam on May 15 and May 29 for Delhi Centres. The exam was conducted for a duration of 60 minutes from 10 AM to 11 AM. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check the CUET UG Chemistry question paper analysis for shift 1. CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from May 15 to May 24, 2024 in hybrid mode. CUET UG 2024 Chemistry exam was conducted in offline mode.

CUET 2024 Chemistry Answer Key
NTA released the CUET Chemistry 2024 answer key at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Students who appeared for the CUET Chemistry exam will be able to download the CUET answer key PDF online along with the response sheet. The link to download the answer key will be updated soon.
CUET UG Language section will include 50 questions. Candidates must attempt all questions. There will be no optional questions.
The language section will check candidate's reading comprehension based on different types of passages. This section will also include questions from grammar. To prepare for the CUET UG language section, candidates must solve previous year question papers and mock tests to become familiar with the type of questions asked in the exam.
The CUET questions are objective in nature and carries four options also known as MCQs. Candidates will have to choose the correct answer option and click on it with the help of mouse. Since CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in a CBT mode, test-takers will be able to mark only one answer option. In case it is the correct option, students will get +5 marks and in case of wrong answer, negative marking scheme will be applied. Hence, candidates must ensure the accuracy of the answer before selecting the answer.

The CUET Chemistry 2024 exam had Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). According to student feedback, the question paper was difficult. Many reported that the difficulty level of the CUET UG 2024 Chemistry section was quite high. The majority of the questions focused on Aldehydes, Amines, and Alcohols.
As per one of the students, there were 4 questions from Physical Chemistry in CUET UG May 15, 2024 exam. According to Surpratap who took the exam says, "I am from UP board, The CUET Chemistry exam as difficult compared to Boards because it was based on concepts. More questions were asked from Inorganic/Organic Chemistry. Physical Chemistry was easy to attempt. I wish to take admission in B.tech in Galgotias University. I will be appearing for English, Mathematics and Physics exam. I did not face any issue regarding the CUET admit card." More emphasis was placed on Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, while Physical Chemistry was relatively easier.
CUET UG question paper for each subject will consist of 50 questions. Candidates will be required to attempt all questions and no optional questions will be provided. In CUET UG 2026 there are 37 subjects- 13 languages, 23 domain subjects and general tests. While filling the CUET application form, candidates can select upto five CUET subjects aligning with the subjects studied in class 12th and course requirement.
Candidates must attempt all the questions of the subjects selected. However, candidates must keep in mind the negative marking and select the options carefully.

As per another student Vijay, who is from the UP board found the CUET chemistry to be more difficult compared to their board exams. He described the overall difficulty level of the exam as moderate. The majority of the questions were from inorganic chemistry. He aims to pursue admission in B.Tech in Computer Science and will be appearing for the Computer Science exam.

- Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: +5
- Any incorrect option marked will be -1 mark.

No, a valid CUET score is accepted for admissions to both BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities and the BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at JSLAH.
In the previous year admissions, CUET was only listed as an accepted exam for the BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities admission.
