BSc Physics is a 3-year undergraduate degree program, that consists primarily of theory and experimental courses in Physics with a small number of interdisciplinary courses from Computer Science, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The BSc Physics course aims to lay a strong foundation in classical and modern Physics.

After class 12th science, someone interested in Physics can either go for tech courses like BTech or BSc in Physics. BSc in Physics is more inclined towards academia and research areas. Yes, Banaras Hindu University offers a wide range of merit-based, need-based, and merit-cum-means based scholarships. Most of these scholarships consider students' academic records. The amount and eligibility of BHU scholarships depend on the department or institute offering them. For example, the Institute of Science, BHU offers various scholarships ranging from worth INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 per year. There are dedicated scholarships for women and SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. Further, BHU students are also eligible for the national scholarships offered through the NSP portal.

As of now, IIT Delhi has released the placement data 2026 that is updated till Dec 2025. As per the report, a total of 1,275 offers including PPOs have been. More than 1,140 students have been placed during IIT Delhi placements 2026. The highest package 2026 has not been released yet.
