BSc Physics is a 3-year undergraduate degree program, that consists primarily of theory and experimental courses in Physics with a small number of interdisciplinary courses from Computer Science, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The BSc Physics course aims to lay a strong foundation in classical and modern Physics.

After class 12th science, someone interested in Physics can either go for tech courses like BTech or BSc in Physics. BSc in Physics is more inclined towards academia and research areas. BSc in Physics is more of a theoretical approach towards physics concepts, though it does consist of some lab work. BTech would be more practically extensive in that area.

The minimum CUET scores required for BHU admission would differ based on category, course and rounds. For the General AI category, the minimum score accepted in the first round was 73.

How admissions work

• Entrance-exam centric: Most schools and departments admit via a written entrance test (subject paper) followed in many cases by an interview or presentation. Some programs (e.g., MPhil/PhD) rely on prior academic record, research proposal, and interviews.

The mode of application at IISc Bangalore is via online mode only. The university offers courses at the UG,PG and Integrated PhD levels. The admissions to BTech programme are carried out via JoSSA counselling only. The admission to IISc is based on merit and entrance exams. 

Identified as an 'Institute of Eminence', the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras or IITM) was established in 1959 as a public technical and research university. No, candidates cannot take direct admission in Delhi University. The university offers admission into UG and PG programmes based on scores achieved in CUET (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by NTA. IIT Kanpur tuition fee costs around INR 2,000 – INR 13.5 L. This fee is exclusive of other components such as examination fee, application fee, hostel fee, security deposit, etc. This fee is taken from the official website. It is subject to change. Hence, it is moderately costly.

As of now, IIT Delhi has released the placement data 2026 that is updated till Dec 2025. As per the report, a total of 1,275 offers including PPOs have been. More than 1,140 students have been placed during IIT Delhi placements 2026. The highest package 2026 has not been released yet.
